2020 USA Coastermania Hyper Trip (Critique Appreciated)

I don't have high expectations of six flags,I especially after Shawn's scathing reviews of some of the Six Flags parks. It's more of a case of it brakes up the drive to our hotel on the way to SDC for us to pop over to SFSL. A ride on Screaming Eagle, Mr Freeze and The Boss and I would be happy to leave SFSL.

GA on the other hand has El Toro and Jersey Devil opening next year too and with how high El Toro is rated it's a bucket list ride for us to try. Ka will be a nice credit to get too.

Kingda Ka is great for a first ride. Very forgettable after though and not really re-ride worthy. I lived in NYC in 09 so know the park fairly well. El Toro was amazing though. 100% the highlight of the park. Nitro is also very good.

I just don't rate Six Flags as operators though.

I'm fully braced for a Six Flags Day ;) Jersey devil also looks incredible too, been wanting to get on a RMC single rail for ages

I enjoyed my day at Six Flags Great Adventure, you're probably best starting with Kingda Ka and working your way round the park from there(though I suppose Jersey Devil if it's open). Also it's a pretty expensive park so probably get yourself a refillable cup for the day instead of buying individually.

It's an enormous park, personally I'd have liked a second day to get more re rides and get on a few more of the flat rides.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your feedback so far. We have had the chance to extend the trip by two days which allows us to do Kings Dominion and Hersheypark which helps us break up the long days of driving.
New extended itinerary below and thoughts appreciated

Hershey park was my favourite park when I lived in NYC. It was one of the furthest away from where I was (3hrs) but better than SFGA by far I found. It's a real charming park with lots of rides crammed in. Think Blackpool but only better and sunnier.

I went twice and wish I had gone more but it was a long drive. Great Bear is brilliant B&M Invert. Doesn't look particularly amazing but rode like a dream.
