Plan;

Take the other half who’s never been to a theme park aside from Camelot to ATR for two/three days, staying in the main resort hotel.

Picking early in the season so hopefully won’t be too manic although the fact one set of rooms is always sold out is worrying.

Hopefully will spark the same wonder it used too 11 years ago pulling up to the hotel.

Gunna leave from South West Lake District middle of the day to arrive on the 26th, stay the night then do two days in the park before driving back on the 28th.

She struggles with walking long distances so hopefully the couple days should break the park up enough to get everything done :)

Report to follow!

Edit; As of 21st of May, trip has been cancelled due to needing to fix my car, and not having the finances to comfortably do both fix the car and the trip. Will update with a new thread when rebooked.

In that case I'd recommend using the skyride if you're both ok with heights, as it saves a lot of walking. :)
I’m fine with heights and if the sky ride is running I’ll absolutely be using it! Went on yet another day trip middle-end of last year and absolutely ruined my legs walking everywhere

This has now been moved to a later date due to the current Covid situation. Will update when I have a proper date. ATR moving hotel booking anytime and any amount of times req throughout the year at no extra cost
