Ok having a browse...

Renaming subforums: It has certainly been mentioned, I wanted to name them all after the units on towers street, but there arent enough! HA!

Upsellers: QUENCHER QUENCHER FASTTRACK "PHOTO WITH YOUR MATES"- teehee.

Thanks: Well thank the admin folk, who are doing an excellent job - 3 days in and look at us!

Traffic Boost: It hasnt been discussed yet, Im sure it will come up. But in all honesty did anyone ever really read it? I know I never did. But I love the idea of calling it upsellers if we do, will mention it to the team in due course

I got a funny language thing like that yesterday. Forgot what it was though... Think I also got it on the member list so it might be a username?

Ah I see, makes sense I suppose. Not sure who's username it interprets as Indonesian but it's possible. :p
 
Can I just say well done.

I logged in today and cant belive how much difference 12 hours have made. The site looks fresh and is starting to look more and more professional.

So thank you and keep it up, your efforts really are appreciated.
 
I know that it will come eventually once the website and forum share the same style / header etc but is there any chance we could temporarily have a link at the top of the forum somewhere linking to TowersStreet Chat?
 
What we really need is a map!

I know it's very hard to make, but I'm sure someone is immensely skilled at Photoshop and other software to make a brilliant map!
 
How about a lexicon somewhere on TS. This would be handy for new users and the terminally thick, e.g. me

like
BPB =Blackpool Pleasure Beach
SBNO = ?

What about that guy who used to be on TTF who made that ridiculously amazing map on Paint? Not sure where the thread is now but that really was great.
 
I know a link back to the homepage was something Joel was very keen on doing so rest assured that'll be done at some point!

In time I would think we'll have a full header consisting of Home * News * Chat * Talk etc that's standard across the whole lot, but you're right on saying we need a 'circular' navigation system of some description at the moment :).

And uh... Indonesian?! Not guilty! :p

As for a map, if anyone is extremely talented and would like to have a go at creating one for the site then by all means go for it!

Any and all help is appreciated - this is your community, and it will ultimately be your site! We want your involvement as much as possible :).

I love making theme park maps! Such as this one I made for an RCT3 park:

Obviously they are hand drawn, would that be ok for the site? Anyway, isnt it possible to import into photo - shop or something & touch it up & add colour?

I'm not exactly an expert on computer graphics!

I remember coming across this on TTF a couple of months ago. I can't remember who posted it, but it really is bloody spectacular! Not only is it functional, it is a piece of art! I'm sure they said they weren't going to finish it though due to it being highly time consuming which is a real shame because it's just so damn fantastic!

Some parts of it are the original artists renditions and therefore don't actually exist :p

Yes, that's the one I was talking about before. He made that all on MS Paint!
 
I still can't get over the fact he did it on sodding Paint. Even on Photoshop I couldn't pull off anything as worthy in the same galaxy as that :-[ On closer examination though, it wouldn't be the hardest thing to edit to make it the Towers that we have today. But I'd rather not do that without the original posters permission, and I'd have no idea where to go about getting that :-\
