What is your favourite soft drink?

Hi guys. A discussion about Pepsi vs Coke in the 2020 thread spurred me to make this thread, so my basic question to you is; what is your favourite type of soft drink?

I'm going to be quite controversial and say that I prefer Pepsi to Coke; more specifically, I prefer Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi to Coke Zero and Diet Coke. I say this because even more controversially, I prefer the diet versions of these drinks to their full-fat counterparts, an opinion that I think will be incredibly uncommon! On the whole, I like sweeter flavours, so I prefer the Pepsi flavour to the somewhat less sweet Coke flavour, but for some reason I've never overly liked the full-fat versions of either in comparison to their low-fat counterparts; I don't know why, they just don't taste anywhere near as nice to me.

On the whole, I'd say Pepsi Max is my favourite soft drink because I like the sweet, yet refreshing flavour. There are few things that satisfy me more than a nice cold glass of Pepsi Max, but on a different note, I must admit that water is growing on me as I grow older! I now try and drink a glass of water in between every glass I have of something that isn't water in order to do less harm to my teeth, and I must admit, I now find water very refreshing, whereas I used to find it quite bland!

But what is your favourite soft drink?

Diet Coke, and I too prefer the diet/zero versions of Coke/Pepsi and always have done. They are much more refreshing!
I think you might be the first person I've ever heard agree with me on that!

Since 90 percent of soft drinks have gone sugar free I can't stand the taste. Bring on our America trip this year and unlimited free refills of full fat soft drinks with ceder fair parks

You can still buy full-fat versions of most soft drinks in most supermarkets in the UK, as far as I know!

Sarsaparilla.
Fresh from the barrel, with a little bit of a head, if possible.
Not managed one in twenty years, but we can dream.
The modern cordial is passable, but not the same.
Very nice in a vodka and tonic, or even gin and tonic.

I generally agre but for things you can't for example most squashes (which my partner used to drink by the gallon). My partner is a super taster and these artificial sweeteners taste very chemically to her so she can't drink them.

Pepsi Max is my favourite cola.

I was brought up on the sugar-free drinks so full-sugar Coke tastes weird to me.

My favourite in general is Sprite though but Lipton Peach Iced Tea is also very nice.

Mezzo mix > Irn-bru > Pepsi Max

But I'm not allowed caffeine anymore so it's 7up free or Sprite zero for me :(
