What is your favourite soft drink?

Fanta Fruit twist.

Always has been and always will.

Interesting fact about soft drinks though. This was at least true as of a few years ago. The most popular soft drink in every country on the planet, is a soft drink brand owned by Coca cola. So not nessiceraly Coca cola itself, Sprite ect. Except for Scotland. Where IRN BRU is number one.

Hi guys. A discussion about Pepsi vs Coke in the 2020 thread spurred me to make this thread, so my basic question to you is; what is your favourite type of soft drink?

I'm going to be quite controversial and say that I prefer Pepsi to Coke; more specifically, I prefer Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi to Coke Zero and Diet Coke. I say this because even more controversially, I prefer the diet versions of these drinks to their full-fat counterparts, an opinion that I think will be incredibly uncommon! On the whole, I like sweeter flavours, so I prefer the Pepsi flavour to the somewhat less sweet Coke flavour, but for some reason I've never overly liked the full-fat versions of either in comparison to their low-fat counterparts; I don't know why, they just don't taste anywhere near as nice to me.

On the whole, I'd say Pepsi Max is my favourite soft drink because I like the sweet, yet refreshing flavour. There are few things that satisfy me more than a nice cold glass of Pepsi Max, but on a different note, I must admit that water is growing on me as I grow older! I now try and drink a glass of water in between every glass I have of something that isn't water in order to do less harm to my teeth, and I must admit, I now find water very refreshing, whereas I used to find it quite bland!

But what is your favourite soft drink?

I find the diet ones less syrup like and prefer them. Not sure I can tell the difference between diet and zero sugar coke.

Just to be precise though, even the regular coke has no fat so to say full fat is always unfair but I know some say sugar is the new fat so ....

Never really been a fan of fizzy drinks until relatively recently. Those who know me well will recall a time I'd only buy black currant squash...

But now, I do enjoy a Mezzo Mix when in Germany!

As a non Alcohol drinker, my preferred soft drink is Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Considering these are full of sugar, I only have one as a treat once in a blue moon. Water is mainly what I drink now-a-days

Some other soft drinks

Tizer/IRN BRU
Cream Soda (use to have this as a kid with a dollop of ice cream in it causing it to froth up, used to call it ice cream float)
Orangeade
I wasn't too keen on Cherryade though.

Almdudler. Incredible stuff, up a mountain in Austria it's everything you need after hitting the slopes. They're a bit protective about selling it elsewhere sadly, but if you see it, try it.

Both Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi taste like they're made from soap. Awful, awful foamy taste.

Max is better than Zero, although it took coca cola over 2 decades to even bother to try and match it, and that was only because if was forced to via the sugar tax.

Fanta lemon from five guys freestyle machines, mezzo mix, pink lemonade (with gin), and Ting, which is a grapefruit flavour drink are all pretty good. I'm not much of a fan of coke/pepsi but pepsi max raspberry is quite nice
