Grand National "breaks down" 30 minutes before close on a very, very regular basis. Not a coincidence. They can't be arsed.

Closing the park earlier than advertised is pretty rare and will surely only happen when weather conditions are so poor and guest numbers are so low that it isn’t worth staying open and makes no business sense to do so. Right?

Surely it has nothing to do with them not being bothered. I’ve never experience it and, from my experience, BPB are really good at opening rides even with only a short amount of time left at the end of the day.

It has happened to me on numerous occasions, sometimes even when the rain has cleared up and the sun is out by the time they close!

I've seen them close at 5pm on a 7pm close day more than once.

It has been known, towards the end of a quiet day, for ride staff to bribe the last solo punters into stopping riding a ride round and round in circles, with lumps of scrap parts from the bins.
Lack of cover for legal breaks sometimes means rides close early due to a lack of essential cover.
Particularly off peak and in bad weather.

Does Nash ever actually remain open until closing time (particularly on LNR nights)...?

I know last year they had issues with sensors failing - whether it was a software issue or actual sensors I don't know. More often than not it is open until close.

I went to two LNR last season - not times Nash was open until close.

Does anybody know if BPB send wristbands out for wow weekends?

I ordered some tickets for this coming sunday last wednesday....i ticked delivery but they only used to send tickets out for peak season

So maybe the option shouldn't have been there as i think they should be here by now

Yes they do.

I've come across an unlabelled picture which I believe to be Nickelodeon Streak and Blue Flyer at BPB, look about right?

Does anyone know if the tunnels for the car ride still in space invader?
As far as I recall, the tunnels were like the Zipper Dipper ones (not really tunnels at all, just arched supports with fabric cover, like the old Roller Coaster ones). I think the entrances are still there, but covered - not sure.

There was a bit of confusion when that area was being put together because 'Boot's Beach Buggies' never materialised and was replaced by the PPR trike things.
