same really - no real temperature worsening couch and aches. Breathlessness the same really

Drink plenty of fluids, it can help with the chest tightness. I read today that French doctors have warned against using Ibuprofen, and recommend Paracetamol instead. For some reason they think the anti inflammatory properties of Ibuprofen is making the symptoms more severe in some people.

One thing that the last few weeks has shown us, it that stupidity spreads faster than a virus.

Judging by the supermarket shelves, last months "Be Kind" has been replaced by "F*** everybody else".

Meanwhile, drinking in the Winchester waiting for all this blows over

Just had a phone call from a friend. She's been in Spain all week, just flew back today.

She was in a panic. Seems that getting home and turning on the telly was the very first time she has heard anything about all this!!

... She works for the Home Office. :banghead:

She says that over in spain, things seemed perfectly normal until she got to the airport on the way home, and saw all the cancelled flights. Then upon landing at Heathrow, she walked straight through passport control and not one person stopped her or even asked where she was comming from.

I had to keep telling her that yes, I was more than aware of all this stuff she's just heard about. Yes, yes, I know sport is cancelled mate, you know what my job is!

Genuinely amazed that it is possible for a 40 year old civil servant to be totally oblivious to all this until today.

She was also coughing a lot while on the phone.

Did I mention that she is blonde? ;)

Can this virus go away now?

Made a load of plans to make this year awesome and now this virus is just going to take a giant douche all over my year.

I have had 6 event i was going to cover with a national volunteer ambulance society, cancelled due to this.

Most of them i was really looking forward to. However that's life, at least i do them for fun not money.

It is the people who events that are their bread and butter job. And the cancelled events mean lost of livelihood. I feel for,

I bet she can tell you all about love Island and fecking soaps though.

Honestly feel like sometimes we deserve bad things to happen to us. We are a nation full of morons.

All this toilet paper hoarding just makes it public knowledge that too many people either
a) don't wash their backsides, or
b) enjoy toilet paper meals
But that aside, keep clean and stay away from crowds seems to be good advice

The one that puzzles me...
Milk shortage.
Ah yes, you need gallons and gallons of milk to treat the virus.
Yesterday at aldi, full days supply sold out by 9 am.
Even the almond muck was sold out.
And with an arse my size, using kitchen roll won't be a problem.
