No musical this year then? That's disappointing.

The show line up has got weaker over the last few years I feel.

Hopefully the new ice show will be better than (the mediocre) Paddington.

Europa-Park have cancelled all indoor events and parties for the immediate future.

This will include Night Beat Angels.

They are going to announce more details about the park next week. I suspect it will go the same way but let's see...

Europa Park have just announced via Facebook the campsite is closed until further notice

Interesting article about staff contracts here (albeit slightly confused by Google Translate):

Europa-Park announces short-time work - 2000 employees affected

The management registers short-time work for more than 2000 Europa-Park employees. Those affected would support the Mack family with a voluntary increase.

Like many other entrepreneurs, Europa-Park is "confronted with this crisis at an unpredictable rate," says the management. In order to secure jobs, the Mack owner family felt compelled to go short-time working.

"We do everything we can to ensure that the impact on employees is as small as possible. Before employees go on short-time work, old days off and overtime are compensated for with full wages," the press release continues.

In the event of subsequent short-time work, the Mack family would support the employees with a voluntary additional top-up amount. As soon as the park could return to normal operation, seasonal workers would be recruited.

This regulation affects over 2000 employees in almost all areas. It is effective immediately, and the period cannot yet be precisely planned due to the dynamic nature of the situation.

The Europa-Park is generally prepared to be able to open again at any time: the show programs have been drawn up, the attractions in the starting position and the gardens are blooming.

The new water world Rulantica has been closed since March 16, every second employee from France is there, that is 25 percent of the employees in Europa-Park.

Europa-Park is giving away their Lindt bunny stock to Freiburg's Uni Hospital and Ortenau Clinic. It's sweet news to hear (ba-dum-tsh) but I just wanted to share it here for casually dressed Roland's photo.

Europa Park Weekly has launched, along with English subtitles.

Here's a first look at Blue Fire's new branding on the trains. I'm not as offended as I thought I might have been.

There is also a new Magnum shop in the Iceland area.

The entrance area to the Gazprom Hall (or, is it the Nordstream Dome?) is being re-done. The entirety of the hall has been gutted and the Blue Fire queue is being re-routed.

Over in Italy, there's a new animatronic in the Geisterschloss queue line, as if it wasn't already a mish-mash of separate things already.

So there we are. Let's see what they show us next week!

Tom. Come on, let's at least mention they're putting a damn slide in there! :tearsofjoy:

I'm glad the logo on the trains is all in white. It was the green part of the logo that really didn't fit (green being the colour for Nord 2 which is why they used it). Still think the logo looks too kidy.
I'd love to see them bring back the original Logo one day. It only lasted a year but looked really stylish.

Have they done the New for 2020 video yet? I presumed this was it but it's not.
It's usually just before opening weekend, so presumably they will wait until they know the date they will officially open. In the meantime I imagine they'll drip feed us information via these weekly videos. :)

What was the original logo?
