To be fair, this is under the assumption that the parks themselves know exactly what is and isn't opening. We know what the government is like for last-minute details - case in point, pubs being told today that they can't open until 6am tomorrow, with many having planned midnight openings*.

There's every possibility that things are still somewhat in flux, and could change.

(* - for the record, I think this was an insane idea for any pub to seriously consider, and very much against the spirit of the new regulations. But many had planned it)
I mean every other park has managed it so I can't see why Towers hasn't.

Ah yeh, I’m positive that’s their intention in everything they do...

They clearly like misleading guests by including th13teen on the list of rides that wearing a mask is mandatory, then to now not opening the ride

The social media team are informing those asking about ride availability to check the website, on which there is no specific information about ride availability.

The website currently states 'the majority' of rides will be open and indoor attractions are closed. I suspect there will be disappointed guests when they see some outdoor attractions closed too.

I cannot see why they can't be more specific when they know certain attractions will not open under any circumstances. It's not that difficult to update the website as and when things change.

Tomorrow will be awful.

Lots of closed attractions and inevitable opening day poor reliability will combine to create a truly unpleasant experience.

Fortunately I suspect only hardcore enthusiasts will be booked in for opening day, most of them will be more bothered about getting vlog footage than going on rides.

Think I'll leave it for a bit.

Aside from 2018 which was a well documented horror show I've never really encountered huge issues with opening day reliability at Towers. The same cannot be said for Thorpe.

In fairness they are usually able to get the worst of it out the way to an extent with the "exclusive" days - services, John Lewis etc.

That will obviously not be the case this time around.
