Theme Park Worldwide

Depending on the person but I’m guessing most large YouTube groups would know how to handle this situation better. End of the day nothing will change with this he thinks he knows what he is doing so only time will tell if it’s the right move. Obviously he hasn’t got to worry about losing the income in my opinion as I said earlier it’s not jealousy like most social media people think but it’s just life’s fact. If he like most of us had to pay bills and mortgage then I’d understand fully his drive to keep going during this crisis but he don’t have the same worry as we do. Fair play to him for funding his hobby via his income tho.

@SuperMuscleMan Seems there is rumblings on Twitter that something is going to happen

Edit person deleted tweet above which he claims some parks are going to crack down on vloggers

Would be absolutely impossible to ban people using go pro, mobile phones or other cameras to record video blogs. Plus the blogs can encourage people to visit the parks so it's also marketing for them. I don't think this will happen.

Obviously go pros/mobiles would absolutely have no chance of stopping them coming in. But I reckon they have a good chance of stopping the more upmarket camera equipment. I’d say that’s a lot more easy to get under control realistically, most high end cameras are easy to spot so it will just be added to the list of items unless you have permission is not aloud on park. Can’t see the problem with it myself.

So we know a great Twitter user is logging all the reports for us, we are now at no.33 but no.32 also has a link to a video which is extremely uncomfortable.

I saw that video last night, it's an uncomfortable watch. Thankfully the girl was surrounded by her friends at the time.

Yeah she was very lucky the people around her spotted the situation, she’s also given an account of what happen that weekend which itself isn’t a pleasant read at all.

Not sure you've seen any more from Twitter tonight, but the girl in question has also posted an account of what happened that evening, along with a few photographs from the trip.

Needless to say, the individual in question has some serious explaining to do.

the more that is uncovered the more uneasy I find it that people are actively trying to silence victims of this sort of abuse. At what point must they stop and realise this is a lot more than having rose tinted glasses watching the same footage of Wickerman year upon year.

You are not the only one feeling uneasy about the activity of some toward women that have put forward their version of events.

Some comments against them feel like emotional manipulation. And this worries me about how this will affect current events and how members of the community that have similar issues in the future will act. Will they think about the actions of a few and decide it not worth the negative and/or painful attacks.

Leaving the community with the same problems as we have at the moment.

Shawn’s biggest problem cause his been a theme park nerd he may have non theme park friends he still sees from school/college but like me none of my college friends go to theme parks now even with there kids but I enjoy taking my daughter to Drayton Manor and now she’s over 1.2m tall she’s looking forward to riding Wickerman, Spinball and 13 and I hope my son the same when he grows up.
Anyway all theses so called friends of his he met vlogging over the years he even met Charlotte while vlogging the Smiler construction. Other than going to theme parks only Alex he sees more as he was/is in the disco business with him but some of the rest look creepy single guys and hopefully if they found guilty they banned from every theme park and other leisure places.

Just caught up with extra photos and info regarding no.32 and it’s even more disturbing when you see the behaviour.

How do you ban them exactly?
Put their pictures up in every ticket booth in the land, updating them every few months perhaps.
Practically impossible.

Perhaps the best way is to demonetise the videos, via a submission to YouTube under the grounds that vlogging in the park without permission is it contravention of the park regulations. (If it’s possible).

They would soon stop bothering to vlog if the ad revenue dried up.

I would say he is at high risk of demonitisation anyway with some individuals who regularly appear in his videos having rape accusations fielded against them. That does not gell with what YouTube advertiser's want

Just noticed that the pinned tweet of one of the accused is a playlist they created of all the TPW videos they have ‘starred’ in. There are over 200 of them.

As if you wouldn’t delete that tweet.

It seems that person has stayed away from all forms of social media for the last few days. I've noticed he's had a lot of negative comments, particularly on his Instagram posts.

Personally, if I was him I would have temporarily disabled my social media.

Shawn has been very public about where he's been going over the last few days, however he's not said anything about where he is today (he was at Thorpe yesterday) and he's being very cagey in his replies to people on Twitter.

Wherever he is, I sincerely hope he isn't with one of the accused and is keeping quiet. If he is seen with any of the accused and it gets out on social media that will be the end of his channel. I really hope he's not that silly.
