Ever wondered what happened to the Sonic Spinball Statue that proudly stood outside the entrance? Reddit user /u/Unique_Marsupial2253 states that during his time working at the towers last year, he found him suffering from decay "outside the employee's area"

I wonder what use they have in even keeping him, can they even auction it off due to licensing issues? I'm very surprised he's still there. I also did not expect to see random Lego tidbits here either.

Didn't realise this was so exciting so didn't post it but yeah I bumped into him last season and got a better photo.

That is a much better photo. Thanks for sharing. Must have been pretty late in the first photo cause I honestly thought the photo was taken inside and the photographer got confused.

There were 2 statues created. The other currently resides in the National Video Game Museum in Sheffield.

It’s a bit odd that they just moved it next to the staff building. I would have expected it to either be dumped in a skip, or dumped behind spinball to then appear in a scaremaze in a few years like most old towers theming.

also no idea why it’s got those lego men next to it, I don’t recall seeing them anyone on park, I’m sure in the lego shop it had those big lego models which are now in he mutiny may shop/towers trading.

also like most things at towers it’s nice to see its being well looked after

I would be almost certain that once the license ended they can't use Sonic in a guest area any longer. I really don't think Sega would be impressed if Sonic re-appeared in a scare maze.
But sitting backstage seems OK, it looks like staff have been touching his nose for luck though.
