Gröna Lund: General Discussion

Track is very much still arriving on site, with the lift hill now looking complete as well:

Just seen on the European Coaster Club twitter that the first drop is in place and it looks a lot similar to Banshee's at Kings Island only a bit shorter!

Presumably Grona Lund are already investigating how to add yet another another drop tower to the side of the main support

When I saw this new retrofit from S&S the other day the first park I thought of was Gröna Lund, at least all their towers would then offer a somewhat different experience!

Anyway, pretty sure this wins the award for B&M’s weirdest support ever.

Whilst a B&M invert is a statement of intent from the park, I think that video demonstrates that they'd have been better off with a more compact ride model that would have allowed them to build a better ride in the same area

If I'm right, Grona Lund had proposed an invert in around 2008 which would have been a lot bigger than this. In fact:

They were denied permission though sadly but it seems like they had their heart set on an invert which is why we're getting this. I still can't wait for it though as it gives me another excuse to visit the park :D
