M&D's: General Discussion

It would appear Tornado has been sold to ‘Parc d’attraction Marseillan plage’ according to rcdb.

Yes we can finally no longer put up with it! It's the French's problem now ( sorry)!

With this so called Auld Alliance that Scotland has with France has, what do we do to finally put an end to it? We give them a crappy coaster from ours.

Still, very strange not to have Tornado there anymore, they seem to be willing to sell off everything that's not the kitchen sink which is frankly all their rides there. Oh please give us a Mack ride on that site, hell I'd even take a crappy SLC or Boomerang in it's place, at least you say can say either of those a far better than a dangerous Pinfari!

I wouldn't go that far for an SLC but we'll be lucky if we get a proper replacement but as long as they don't give a Zamperla Volare I'm not complaining!

Just to confirm that Tornado is moving on...here it is.

Good riddance and you won't be missed by anyone here in Scotland.

Now the question is what will, or even if, they'll replace it with? Suppose though I can boast I'm one who got an unfortunate credit with this ride, though the skyline of the park will look very different and with many rides going it's starting to look like an empty car park...

Some Pinfari trashy coaster but it's a glorious sight to see it finally leaving praise the lord!

It was pretty dreadful but I didn't think it was any worse than I expected it to be. If anything, when they removed the Corkscrew - easily the worst bit, it was OK.

Always a bit mystified when there's any sort of delight in a coaster getting removed, irrespective of what it is. If you didn't like, don't ride it.

I think it's a combination of how bad the park is and how the owners are are one thing which adds to the fact they just so happen to have the World's worst roller coaster here which for being a blackmark for all Scottish enthusiasts and humiliation for us, it is something wonderful to see it finally go away. Suppose all you being either English or Welsh it is maybe harder to understand how we feel but now I'm hearing rumours that the Mad Mouse is up for sale too.

Seems everything is going now and nothing will be left, that is they want to make any money they can and are wanting to try and start with a clean slate with a decent footprint left over by Tornado. I do wish I could have more access into the dirty workings on this place for you guys but sadly they do seem to all hush-hush about what they want to do.

When it comes to getting credits I always look forward to riding the crap coasters as it does make me appreciate the good ones a bit more.

Wasn't the worst with the likes of the SLCs, TOGOs and Volares to compete with!

Well, small documentary on that damn Coaster.

Find it funny that M&D's had apparently had hoped to sell the ride off when they had the new area built...a plan that didn't work in which not only they had their main ride went but their new area never happened. You can't make it up with the amount of stupidity that happens. How I'd love to see a fly on the wall documentary to see what happens in that company...

What's more funny, that or with Patreon that if many raised money together that could've raised funds to acquire something decent for M&D's. Mmm, that's an idea in general though...
Or God forbid, reimburse the people who suffered that ride in order to film the footage that has been used.

I bet they had to have surgery nd the people who tried the food challenge, why would u even accept that? If it was that cup of water challenge I'd be up for that specially on a hot day but a three course meal is very extreme as you can see they probably had to have 5 baths!
