Hello, I need to take the train from Luton to Reading tomorrow. Usually the quickest route would include taking the circle or H&C line from King's Cross St Pancras to Paddington which is included in the ticket however the circle and H&C lines are shut for engineering works. Would I be allowed to take the bus for that route on my ticket?

Not sure, but the 205 bus is direct and costs about £2, so if they make you pay it's not the end of the world.

The Victoria Line down to Oxford Circus and the Bakerloo Line up to Paddington is a decent option too.

One question though, how do you avoid that long corridor to the Victoria Line?

Well you could travel one stop further to Green Park, then take a northbound train to Oxford Circus and you just need to walk across to the Bakerloo Line :p

Oh sorry, I meant the one at King's Cross. (I didn't realise there was one at Oxford Circus)

1 in 20 with Covid seems to be the estimate now, do you have to go via public transport / at all?!

If you want to know, we have to deliver a TV to Reading Salvation Army homeless centre and we currently don't have a driver.
