[2022] 'Eatrenalin' Innovative Restaurant

You have to hand it to them. This really is next level in innovation and nobody can say they're not intrigued.

If this was anyone else outside of Europa (bar Disney / Universal) then I'd not be overly interested. You really just expect Europa to pull this off. Cant wait to give it a go on our next visit. Not been the park in so long now it sucks. 2013 was the last time I went :(

It looks quite utterly and mindblowingly bizarre. No idea if or how it is going to work still, but I am intrigued as to how they pull it off.

It's not going to be something that 95% of visitors on any typical day will even get to experience no doubt. I imagine the capacity per day to be low and obviously the price won't be cheap either.

Depending on just how pricey it is I would definitely book it next time we visit. I love dark rides and I'm a quite a big foodie so it will right up my street for sure.

They'll have my money if they provide any vegan food options, no doubt over that.

Sadly Europa have some catching up to do in that department, certainly relative to Merlin / Disney.

My fingers are crossed.

The ambition (or insanity) to create something like this trackless dark ride, meets restaurant, meets service via robot arms in the ceiling. Crazy stuff to all pull together. Really intrigued to see the outcome. Starting to save up now for a visit later this year. :p

You can imagine a board meeting, on the same points of discussion are the integration of accounts across Mack products and this...thing. I can only imagine there was a lunch break in between spent drinking Rust dry or major amounts of illicit substances.

Thomas Mack has stated Eatrenalin won't open for the originally intended Autumn 2021 timeframe due to the continuing pandemic situation. Instead it will be 2022 now.

He also teased one of the "scenes/experiences" will transport guests to a street food market in Shanghai thanks to, among other things, the food, themed environment and temperature.
Such a scene has already been shown in one of the concept images.

Shame we have to wait longer to discover what this madness is.

Do we know how big the area for this ride/experience/LSD based nightmare is? Can't lie, this would be the best ever indoor/dark ride simply as it involved filling my stomach.

Interestingly, the location of Eatrenalin has been added to Google Maps. Whilst it’s clearly not a definitive confirmation, the location is marked as being on your right as you drive into Kronasar from the main road, just before you reach the car park, adjacent to Yullbe. So pretty much where we expected and also where the current construction work is progressing.

I thought the chef from Ammolite, Peter Hagen-Wiest, was going to be the head chef at Eatrenalin. I wonder if this is a change or my assumption was wrong/he's just involved in the concept rather than anything else

He's still mentioned as being involved on the website, and would still assume that'd be the case. But the restaurant would still need a head chef, while I presume he'd still remain head chef at Ammolite, unless he moved to an executive role overseeing both restaurants.

The latest EP News now has no more mention of the Summer opening but rather states Autumn 2022. Another delay is unfortunate but hopefully it means they will really have the kinks worked out come opening for such an experimental high tech product.

When I went past last week it looked no where near finished on the outside and from what you could see inside as well.
