The Great Skyline Game (Final Results)

Does time stress apply? Do we get bonus points if we submit the answers in the opposite order to which they apply? And is there a secret code to reveal them instantly on RCDB?

And there we have it, 14 rounds later it is officially the end of the game and this is indeed your final results post. Even better, it's only two days late, please accept my apologies for keeping you hanging, but would you believe it I was out on Friday... At and ACTUAL Theme Park. Who would have thought it!

Anyway, lets kick things off with the answers to last weeks devilish 7 skylines;

Skyline 1 - The 'One Added or Removed' was indeed Waldameer, where for your bonus we had added Storm Chaster from Kentucky Kingdom
Skyline 2 - The 'Manufacturer', they did their worst, it was the beloved 'Gerst'-lauer
Skyline 3 - 'Only One Has A Colour' was La Ronde a park with both a Batman Clone and a Standard SLC... WHY.
Skyline 4 - 'Defunct Coasters Only' It was Six Flags Magic Mountain... Nice GIB
Skyline 5 - 'Average Heights' for what is now a slightly more average park, it was Everland.
Skyline 6 - The European 'City' was none other than Benidorm. Stay classy all!
Skyline 7 - 'Two Combined' we fooled you once at the start, we fooled you again now, it was Legoland Florida & Dubai. We do love a good Lego park.

So, it's apparent things really had got a little bit much this week, with one major player finally bowing out it was out intention to break him from the start and break him we did... But who was it? Well, the scores for the week are as follows;

John - 40pts First to submit his answers and guessing a random skyline.
Brad97 - 19pts 2nd and only other person to submit answers
ThisGuy - 10pts for a random skyline.

Which means that we have our final scores and in third place it's @Poisson with a very respectable 294. A great score considering you didn't submit answers after week 10. Well done.

In second it is the reigning Layout League Champion and the one who we finally broke, Mr @Rob Congratulations sir, a brilliant score of 367. Well done, if it makes it any easier, you would have had to be first and get every answer right including both randoms to beat our Champion.

Who incidentally, is @John A whopping 434 points carrying him to victory. The only person to submit every week, a truly deserving winner. John, you are the true OG Geek and we salut you!


Thank you once again to everybody for taking part over the last 14 weeks, it has been fun and stressful in mostly equal measure both for you and for myself and @Burbs. It has been a pleasure and frankly I'm not sure what we will do with ourselves now... Though I'm sure we will be back with something at some stage. But for now, have a fantastic 2021 season all, have a Da Luca and a ride on Mixtape for us. Hopefully we will see some of you very soon.

It was good fun! Hadn't realised I managed to cross the 200 point mark before tapping out. Not bad considering I hadn't even intended to do more than 1 or 2 rounds.
 
Sorry @Sir Queer Llama, you didn't break me, I just did not have any time at all last week to take a proper look at them! Plus I knew that I could never defeat the almighty John!

Thanks though guys, a really fun game. And good to know that 1cm of a skyline on my monitor equates to roughly 19.272727ft! :p
