YULLBE

Can't say that I am overly interested in this at all, but good to see that they have made it appear more presentable. Can't help but get the feeling that it more of a trial of a new VR system that they may look at implementing in the park if successful.

I am looking forward to trying this next year.

They have purchased some of the best head sets (It looks like they are using Primax) you can get, If it was a TV, it would be like a 4K TV compared to Galatica which would of been similar to CRT TV image wise.

I have been using a VR headset for my Sim Racing for nearly three years, and I would not go back to a monitor now, so the idea of this experience appeals to me. The idea of wearing a VR headset on a coaster or water ride does not appeal to me though.

But I like the idea of this experience, escape to another world, escape room style puzzles, laser quest style action, it sounds fun to me :)

New Weekly episode about YULLBE and the Adventure Club of Europe which also ties into the Rulantica story.

Also another tease about how the third Adventure Club book to be released later this year will be about the future Croatian area in Europa Park.
"The third book is maybe about a new attraction in Europa Park that we are planning. Where the details aren't yet public, but the stories exist."

In English a recent presentation about YULLBE and its future.

Currently YULLBE offers two experiences, Mission Rulantica - YULLBE Pro (group 30 mins experience with full body tracking and interaction with props) and Traumatica - YULLBE Go (shorter 10 mins, individual experience, more basic VR).
It was announced that by the end of this year they plan to offer 10 experiences for guests to choose from. Of both the Pro and Go varieties.

Work is also taking place to develop the YULLBE Go experiences to be able to travel for events.

Additionally Miniatur Wunderland will be the first home of a non-EP based YULLBE experience. It was announced they are working with Mack NeXT to create a VR experience at the popular attraction in Hamburg.

First 3 new YULLBE GO experiences have been announced.

The first is available today and just like Eurosat VR is based on Valerian.

The other two debut next month - 'ARTiality - The Art Of Abstraction' (12th June) and 'Moon To Mars' (21st June).

Additionally the minimum age requirement for YULLBE has been reduced from 14 to 12 years old.

I want to do this when I visit in October! I did one in New York that was Star Wars based that was so much fun... Can't wait to see this version...

So the next YULLBE PRO experience (fully body tracked, interactive, group 30 min version) after Mission Rulantica will debut next Spring. It's based on some random comic book IP with a story which is a very odd choice for a 12+ family attraction.

Abandoned by her mother at the age of 5, Amber Blake was only a child when she was recruited to the Cleverland Institute, a school for gifted children, where she was promised a bright future. But predators hide in the school's administration and, on the verge of exposing them, Amber finds herself fleeing for her life from the very man who took her in. Now a top recruit of a covert agency dead-set on ending human slavery in all its forms, she's going to destroy everone who's ever hurt the people she loves.

That is a really cool video! Fully expecting Eatdrenalin to rock up here in a couple of years also.

For the time being you can experience the shorter "go" variant in Park itself, too, in the Arena of Football. Each one goes about 10 minutes and cost a surcharge of 6 Euro which I finde very reasonable. I tried Ed and Edda, the new Miniatur-Wunderland, and Artiality, and liked them all very much. The first 2 are similar in that you are at the respective location (EP, MiWu) and get some small jobs to do there. Very engaging and entertaining. ARtiality is a bit different, since you get in early 20th Century paintings. Here you do not have to do anything, you just watch, how the paintings come into existence and you stand in them in a 3D 360degree environment. I like art and found Artiality a brillant experience. But if you want action, it might not be your cup of tea.

6 euros is quite reasonable considering doing it in the actual Yullbe building costs double that. I did Artiality and I had no idea what to expect - it was fine though, but I'd love to try Yullbe Pro at some point.

YULLBE GO in the actual YULLBE beside Kronasar has actually had it's price reduced to 9,90 euros. But yeah the reduced rate for the in park location in the arena is definitely worth it.

The new Miniature Wunderland PRO and GO experiences have also now debuted in Rust too now; following the successful launch of YULLBE in Hamburg.

Since opening at towers the YULLBE has gone down in price, it’s now £7 for 1 game, £12 for 2 and £15 for free, compared to £10 for one game when it opened.

As opposed to the travelling pop-up YULLBE GO which has toured some shopping centres in Germany - now a seemingly permanent YULLBE GO installation will be opened in Mannheim.

Michael Mack using his Twitter for good for once also suggests a Europa Park gift shop will open alongside it.

Be interesting to see how successful it is; imagine part of the reasoning for Mannheim is that the city is set for a big tourism increase next year when it hosts the BUGA (National Garden Show).

I've always been a bit weary of IPs, but I do love Phantom of the Opera. It would really lend itself to a boat ride, but I'm sure the VR experience will be good too.

The YULLBE GO offering in the park is moving out of the Arena of Football and into the Traumzeit Dome which has returned in a new spot behind Fluch der Kassandra. This location along with the new Phantom of the Opera YULLBE GO experience opens Saturday for the start of the winter season. The dome has been decorated for the new experience, and the headsets updated with new headphones too.
