2022 Speculation and CBeebies Land additions

Would love for this to go into Forbidden Valley
https://www.hussrides.com/en/news/break-dance-5-coming

Sorry didn’t know the teletubbies and Hey Duggie was now doing live shows as I not been in there since 2018.

My misses thinks for babies/toddlers they need to have a interactive area where they can sing, dance and play with items. So the baby/toddler club would be perfect. That could easily fit into the Charlie and Lora building or even in the Nina building.

That looks great! It would be an ideal addition and could be themed to a spinning nemesis pit drill perhaps?

The more and more I think of this the more it seems like a no brainier - Please, AT, bring back a Mondial Supernova to the park, stick it where Roller Disco was and theme it to a tree branch under a spell. Vinealive?

EDIT: Turns out Mondial no longer make the Supernova however I do like the look of this, which has the basic Supernova structure but looks more thrilling! http://www.mondialrides.com/blender/

Height and size might be an issue, but I could see that fitting in Forbidden valley really well! Seats between 32-64 riders too, just the high capacity flat ride that Towers needs! :)

Reopening the 3D theatre with a Walliams based show would be a good bet for 2022. No need for planning permission for that, and a relatively cheap option.

I always wonder if the driving school could get a new track built on the area between Spinball and Octonauts. I suspect that won"t happen until Spinball is finally retired; and we get a more substantial CBeebies expansion there. That isn't going to be in 2022, as they need the capacity for 8+ Year old rides.

Yes that's an option and it doesn't even need to be a 4D show. I would presume the 4D screen is just been put up above the old stage so I'm sure it could be easily converted back into a conventional theatre.

As far as I’m aware the old stage from the CCL show is still there, and the screen was just placed in front of it.

Yes so I presume that means its not out of the realms of possibility to see a new stage show next year or the year after in that space? Especially with the material they have with Walliams books. They're has been stage shows of quite a few of his books so shortened versions of them should work fine.

Imagine if Towers did actual entertainment?
They trialled some this year on the lawns, and it seemed to go down well; I believe they’ve applied to keep that stage for at least 5 years, so entertainment may well start becoming a bigger focus again!

The issue is not so much the stage as the auditorium. The enitre space was rethemed to an ice cavern, so to turn it back into a theatre space would require the auditorium to have that ice age theming striped back and returned to being a more normal theatre.

This was one of the resaons why the 4D Cinema was closed with Ice Age, rather than just having a new show moved in, which is normally the way with cinemas.

That's really interesting. So I suppose it's unlikely for next year however its not out of the question in the future.

Interestingly, the comments of this photo contain an interesting suggestion… someone has suggested that this could be the Driving School moving from the remnants of CCL down to CBeebies Land, as the Driving School ride hosts are apparently moving to CBeebies Land for 2022.

I’ll admit that that wasn’t my first thought, but it seems plausible given that the ride is probably more suitable for CBeebies’ target market than at Walliams’ target market… the max height restriction is 1.4m, so it would probably suit CBeebies better in that regard, for my money.

That would be unexpected but would make complete sense as it's for Cebeebies-age children. Would enable TWoDW to be expanded too. :)
Could also explain why it wasn't re-themed during the Walliams transition

Honestly, I really doubt it'll be the driving school moving to CBeebies Land. That's more effort than re-theming it in the same place, it doesn't really make any sense.

I honestly don't think we should have any expectations that we will be seeing anything other than a rethemed playground replacing Tree Fu Tom - perhaps with a couple of new bits of playground equipment, but broadly the new theme will be selling point.

There's many reasons why the Driving School wouldn't move to CBeebies, not least that it shares the target audience of Walliams world, which is aimed at older kids than CBeebies Land.

I agree with this. Don't think we'll see anything else on that site apart from a retheme of the playground and maybe the odd bit of new playground equipment. I wonder what they'll retheme it too?

I don't think the driving school would be moving here for reasons already mentioned by @Danscott22 and @Squiggs

As for if we will see anything else for 2022 well I have no idea. I've listed many possibilities of what they could do however I think we'd see some evidence by now if any of them were going to happen. If we do get anything else it'll probably be fairly small.

My money's on a cross-valley B&M which will open on the 1st day of the season. Oh and Nemesis retracked by then too. I know this because I saw someone say it on YouTube the other day. :D:p:rolleyes:

I've heard rumblings that this is what was planned a few months ago. Whether this is still the case remains to be seen, but I think it's pretty likely that this is what's happening.
