Not quite sure what you're getting at here? Adults are allowed to visit CBeebies Land, not sure if they're banned from the hotel or not.
Yeah wouldn't surprise me if adults have to be accompanying children in order to stay at the Cebeebies hotel. Sensible if so. :)

A neighbours girlfriend worked in CBeebies Hotel a couple of years ago over Christmas (she was in the pantomime). At that time it was only registered CBeebies Hotel guests allowed in (even if accompanied by children). They had security on the entrance enforcing this too. Admittedly, this when CBeebies was never, so Towers may have been stricter then at it could possibly attract a premium price as a newer product.

To enter CBeebies Hotel you need to have a reservation. However there is nothing in the booking system that would stop an all adult party booking a room at the CBeebies Hotel.

Why you would want to do that is however another matter.

Saw a crane over what seemed to be the smilers final inversion today. I seem to remember TPW pointing out a crane over smiler during the Christmas event, and that was over a month ago. I'm so intrigued as to what the problem is. Maybe they're replacing track? If they were doing that though I would've thought it'd be the exit to the cobra roll but who knows

Potential repaint maybe?

I'd love the Smiler to have a retrack, as most of Gerstlaurs Rides do get rough quite quick over time.

They're probably just replacing bolts on the final inversion as it is a very small and tight element, so it probably has a lot of stress on it and they're just doing yearly maintenance.

I thought we'd seen the last of the "why is the Smiler broken" debate when the season ended... ;)

I remember watching a video that said it looked like it was over The Smiler but then from a different angle actually looked like it was working on Oblivion instead.
I'm surprised that no drone footage has emerged yet like the stuff that appeared in late 2020. Not saying it should fly over the park but I'm sure you'd get a good view if you just flew vertically upwards from the gate area on the main road opposite the Chained Oak B&B

The footage back in 2020 (the one with the workers on Oblivion) was actually filmed by the park engineers.

You can't fly & film with a drone from the main road. It's illegal to fly a drone fitted with a camera within 50m of private property/persons which is not under your direct control.

Ironically, during my scarefest visit this year I did see a drone just above the tree around Spinball Whizzer, it didn't stay long thou.

Also note that the (awesome) drone video of Nemesis that was done as part of her 25th anniversary was filmed by a professional company hired by the park, during closed hours with no one on the ride. :)

There have been a few videos of people flying drones over towers even if they weren't supposed to. Actually there was a really good one that went over the whole park and that was at the start of 2021 season

That wasn't the one I was on about (I'd actually forgotten about the Oblivion one). The one I was thinking of is called Alton Towers 22 11 20 - which I think is the one @Ethan was referring to.

And it may be illegal, but just like privately owned e-scooters being used on the roads, it doesn't stop people doing it (and getting away with it).

There is one on YouTube posted end of September where it's clear someone in the park is operating the drone all over the park while it is open, flying over The Smiler, getting level with the Oblivion drop etc. I'm not going to link to it in case it's seen as supporting such behaviour when it is clearly against the law and quite frankly and more importantly down-right dangerous when flying over live rollercoasters!
