I would recommend riding it, it's really fun, not Submission painful at all. Although you probably won't listen to what I've said.

Unlike some others, I've ridden pretty much everything at Alton Towers, despite going only about once a year. I make the most of when I go. Although, I haven't ridden:

Driving School (was too big/old when it opened).
That dodgy car ride in the Farmyard, the one where little children think they're actually steering the car...
Ice Age (the queue was an hour when I went last year, so I couldn't be bothered).

I've done pretty much everything else, as I've been through the years, that's still there. Even Riverbank Eye-Spy. Really, sometimes you forget it's actually an attraction.

I have never been on Black Hole :(

I have never seen Ice Age 4D

I have never been to Extraordinary Golf

I have never been to the water park

I have never been to either of the hotels

I have never been on Enterprise (makes me sick even looking at it)

I have never been on Duel (I'm a scardy cat, I know)

I have never bought a fast track ticket in my life (I am very proud of myself! :p )
 
I've never ridden Heave-Ho, I just can't bring myself to stand in the queue amongst all the 5 year olds that it's actually designed for ;)
 
I've never been on Submission or Marauders Mayhem.
I've never stayed at the hotels.
I've never watched a show on park.
I've never done ERT.
I've never been to the Fireworks.

Being serious, was you too young, as you may have been right on the edge of having the bottle to step up to big rides (I didn't till quite late, but just managed a couple of years or so of TL).

I miss that ride :(

I did once... another random ride that for some reason makes me want to Heave-Ho!

I have never been on Enterprise, Submission, Battle Galleons, ANY chair swings etc. Basically if it spins round, or pointlessly gets you wet - my rule is avoid.

Got caught unawares by Hex lol, Colossus JUST scrapes in with those horrid inlines! ;D
 
The reason I never did thunder looper was I thought the lap-bars looked unsafe (the ride left the park when I was 11), so though I did Nemesis when I was 9 (just tall enough) in its opening year, I wouldn't do thunder looper.
 
I've never been on the flume, ripsaw or submission...
Or ridden nemmy front row.
Or won on the smiler game spinny thing :/

They did look unsafe mate ha-ha!!

It is odd to think you may have been one of the kids in the queue for Nemmy I thought was utterly mental for going on it so young! At 9 I hated Zipper Dipper lol!!

Pity you never did TL though fella. Kudos for the Buster Gonad impression at 9 though ;D
 
I've never ridden Rita front row. Never bothered to queue up, as there always seems to be a large queue. Much prefer the airtime at the back anyway.

I much prefer airtime over being on the front row of anything. I've been on the front of PMBO once, and the back over 20 times because of that - the airtime you get going over hills is just far more pleasant than the front row.
