What reminds you of Alton Towers?

Okay, this week I'd hope to visit Alton Towers, but due to work commitments I can't go! So I thought I'd ask what reminds you of those happier days at Alton Towers?

Personally mine is either the smell of dry ice which fills the park (On a good day!) and very watery coke, preferably flat which reminds me of my quencher on a hot day.

So bar merchandise, what reminds you of Alton Towers?

You did not just say Nottingham. That's truly despicable! ;-)

What reminds me of Alton Towers? I'd say flat drinks, and Tootsie Rolls, along with certain music from the fireworks 2012 set list.

Oh, and this place!

Pretty obvious but I can't hear ITHOTMK without thinking of it. In fact, it's pretty much the first thing that comes to mind when Grieg is even just mentioned.

I can remember on several occasions my folks having an Elton John 'tape' playing on our way to the Towers as a kid. Whenever I hear 'Don't let the sun go down on me' it instantly reminds me of being in the car, not too far away from the place. Pretty sure I remember us seeing the top of the thunder looper when very near the park too. Good memories :)

Everything!
The music in dance sounds slightly like the oblivion music.
Seeing a smiley face reminds me of The Smiler.
Anything Sonic-y reminds me of Sonic Spinball, my first rollercoaster, (And my brother loves sonic, he's always on it!)
Some days, its just waking up early on a really bright day, reminding me of all those days in the summer where I woke up at 6AM from excitement!

Every time i put the kettle on we (we have a few AT mugs) Also there is a tree near by that had its branch blow off by lightning, there is a piece of string that tied to one branch and to the one below it, not as grand but thats just hex. Then thereis a old school photo i have teachers at the front. one was my music teacher who's compnay wrote the theme for thi3teen.

Then they are silling things like the mention of people breathing air. sonic the hedgehog. opening a bottle of beer (I use i thing with a corkscrew attached). Any hole thats dark. plus walking past any country estate and thinking its nice, but its no alton towers.

Plus driving down the M1, the first sign that says Alton Towers few miles north of Derby. Either jump for joy as im going or let out a moan if im not.

The bus that goes to a place near me called Alton Street... Because Alton Towers, Towers Street, ya' know? :) Missing the Towers, realize just how much every time I see that bus...

I have a very distinct memory from when I was in uni just after the corkscrewed was scrapped.

They we building a new building on campus and the machine they were using to bore into the ground to lay the foundations made a sound that was distressingly similar to the corkscrews lift hill.

For weeks over that closed season I was being haunted by the ghost of Corkie!

The smell of KFC always reminds me of Alton, in particular the one which used to be opposite RMT. Still to this day when I smell it I get reminded of that area....

Warehouses. Everytime I see a warehouse I feel a bit Alton Towersy.

Also, are you SURE the smell of dry ice fills the park? Its just, if dry fog did fill the park, we would all be coughing and trying to breathe. :)

Interlude 2 by Skindred and the start of Eyeless by Slipknot

There really is that many mistakes in my posts?! Damn this Tapatalk milarky! :)

The thing that reminds me of AT is talking about rides with firends and getting up early in the morning getting ready to set off for AT.

A little side street that I pass every day called Alton terrace.
