It should not be busy as the 3rd is a school day, however there may be school parties on site and obviously if theres good weather the park will be busier. I'm not sure if the sun tickets allow you to go the park early for ERT, but I doubt you will need it.

It seem to vary on who you speak to on the phone if you get annual pass discount. I know people have posted on the forum about booking Moon voyage rooms, some people have had discount, some people havnt! I have to say I dont know the official rules however.

Or like me a total blagger, book a standard room and if its not as busy ask for an upgraded room if there is one going. Please note it doesn't always work for obvious reasons but its worth a go as I got upgraded twice last year.

A quick Google search came up with someone's answer which says that you have to be 16+
I'm sure you can contact Alton on Twitter or send them and email and they'll be happy to help.

A question about The Smiler opening Day,
For people who have been to opening days before, what normally happens?
I'm going to be at the turnstiles for 8am. Am I right in assuming:
1st - Wait till 9am for gates to open, run to X Sector
2nd - XS shut off, so Que outside XS?
3rd - XS opens at 10am and straight onto the ride?
Will it literally be a load of people sprinting hoping to be one of the first member of the GP to ride it?

Well, the Thirteen opening day was chaos. Everyone ran to Dark Forest only to be stopped near Hex by staff. We all then were walked very slowly towards the ride (hundreds of people) before the staff let us through and it was a rampage. To be honest it was dangerous, people could have been trampled and I know staff said they wouldnt do it again for that very reason.
So for the Smiler - I think they will probably let everyone make their way at their own speed over to the ride, then have staff at the ride entrance preventing people from entering the queue line until the appropriate time.
But yes, 9am the gates open, people will go to X Sector, and then 10 the queue line will be opened.

Yeah I remember the 13 chaos!
Still I was on the first train out......
Also Terry opening day they let people do what they want and we formed an orderly queue (I was in the first set of riders so was near the front so dunno what it was like at the back)
