You Know You're Addicted to Alton Towers (and tst) When....

When you blurt out a squeal of ermahgerd when Alton Towers Sweets appear on C4's Secrets of the Doggers programme. Lovely. Highlight of my holidays.
 
when I find out I know more about Alton Towers than the Leisure and tourism lecture at the college i work for.
 
When you make a habit of putting Alton Towers into the SatNav just to see how many miles it is from where I am and to see when I'd arrive.

You watch the Felix the Cat movie, see the below frame (which literally lasts a frame has no justification) and suddenly think 'Get Corrected'.

when your are in a group of people for a photo and the bloke with the camera says "smiles" and I say "Smiler" and half the group start laughing and shout geek.
 
Ok...on the advice of Pixie-Ro...

You know you're addicted to Alton Towers when... you have a theme park-themed wedding!

All the tables at my wedding were named after parks my husband and I had either visited or were planning on visiting on our honeymoon. And a friend who's a graphic designer made us a theme park map for a table plan.

I think half my family actually expected me to get married in Alton Towers, maybe on Nemesis itself! x
