Some images from Theme Park Central on Facebook. :)

These were taken from the ITV Central report on The Smiler.

A picture with the inside of the station visible. It's a little blank but still looks good.

Good to see the inside took inspiration from the monorail station :)

Im joking, this ride will be the best.

Let me be the first to say that the inside will not be like that on opening day!
Mechanically it will obviously be the same but there will be some surprises.
Interesting how they skipped both pre lift sections with a view of the screens on the marmalader don't you think? :/

I assumed it was as the ride is currently operating in a manual mode, with only one, two at most cars on the track? I just can't see what mind blowing special effects will happen as you progress into daylight, or under a pair of televisions?

If it was operating in manual there would not be someone riding it.

Also why skip to screen shots why not just skip the pause.

So do you know if there's something there, and you can't tell us, or are you just idly speculating? The ride system doesn't seem to be operating as quickly as it will when running at full capacity, so I had just assumed that they had taken out the slow transitions. Happy to be proven wrong, however.

Looking brilliant. I had to flip the video myself in VLC as it was driving me crazy!

I too like the turfing!

This. Looks. Awesome.

Can't help but notice however the lack of marmaliser interaction? Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention but it seemed like it was just a prop. It will change on the opening day.....I hope

I know nothing ;D

It's a very odd place for something to happen though I agree.

I wasn't expecting any theming in the tunnel as obviously you'd be going to quick to see it, but I am expecting projections of some sort *fingers crossed*

As for the station, I knew it was going to be plain, but that really is bare, I think it would have been nice to see a huge version of the logo on the wall or something just to break it up a little.

Does that report more or less confirm facial recognition on the ride cars? Showing that your anger, fear etc will be measured on the way round? When cars where delivered didn't someone say they had a camera in every seat?

One wall is completely taken up with the text 'YOU BELONG TO THE SMILER' and it is hard to judge what the whole thing looks and feels like without it being finished with lighting and sound added too...

And a plain wall is good for projecting!

There appears to be some nice stylish lighting within the station building.

But not a lot else.

Hopefully a bit more will be added.

It looks awesome, but only because I know what Im looking for. Frankly whoever decided that it was a good idea to release a full POV of an incomplete ride, with the lights on, surrounded by guys in hard hats deserves a slap. It doesn't do the ride justice or add to the hype, if anything I think it does the complete opposite!

I'd imagine the dark ride section will be very different once the ride opens to the public compared to what is in that video. Clearly none of the effects are on. This section of the ride is apparently about 95% finished, so there is still a little work to do. I was told today that there would indeed be some nice surprises in the indoor section, however I obviously do not know what.

I shall have a photo update later this evening.

:)
