I'm glad I had the chance to grow up in the era where secrecy could be maintained easier and had the chance to enjoy earlier rides in the way they should be - via discovery on arrival.

When you walk into X Sector you'll face a huge 14 looping coaster, "Oh just looking at it spoiled my ride on it."

Last week we visited Disney Studios for the first time and rode Tower of Terror. Had we wanted to know what was going to happen (interior layout, ride cycle etc.) we could have quite easily found out online, however we wanted to maintain the element of surprise so steered clear until we'd ridden it...personally I think the experience was better for it!
Buy posting this in the spoiler topic It's fairly obvious that I'm not as concerned about keeping the same element of surprise on the smiler.
My point is...it's YOUR decision! To say that we live in an age where keeping secrecy is impossible is daft. Surely you can simply avoid the relative media and enjoy the ride for the first time completely in the dark (or light, or strobes, or washing machine...or whatever's in there...oh sod it I want to know...TELL ME NOW!!!!!!!!)
