We don't have to have Inversions, not all great rides have Inversions, look at them Mega-lites, they don't have Inversions.

Yeah but it's more fun on No Limits to design inversions :p

Not really.

Anyway, I'd think a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster would be nice to work on.

Hi guys been following this closley and have decide that I would love to join!
I'm quite good at No LImits but my support work is terrible :p but my ride designs are good! so
can I join in with the fun?

Yep, of course you can Joe.

Ryan, Screamworks Co. sounds fine to me.

The reasons why I think inversions aren't a great idea at this stage is the time it takes to shape to look and feel right takes a lot of time. Also, it's much easier to do a simple design at this early stage, to see how well it all works. Not all great coasters have inversions, in fact, the majority do not.

EDIT-

Also, a reminder to all the people working on the project to please create a Dropbox account, and then PM me or Al with your email address. This allows us to share work.

I have a word with Longy via Facebook. And he asked me if I want to do the promotional images and backstories, if they're need..

If they are, I'm always here if you need me.

:)

Good to have you Stevie.

Right, to kick start the YouTube channel I'm proposing I create a video showing what we want to do and who is in the project (by that I mean that your YouTube username will be in the description). In the video I want to include clips of No Limits Coasters that you have created and uploaded to YouTube.

If it's OK for me to put a clip of your coaster in the video then just PM me with a link to your channel, or put it in this topic, and I'll to the rest. ;)

The track colour would be chosen when the theme is decided upon, so it fits in.

I'll get to work tomorrow on some ideas, and then, hopefully, a theme will be chosen. This will then be developed further, and the ride can start!

Looks like we have a tie between launch, sitdown and inverted. Poop! :p

Also, would it not be wiser to establish the scale and type of coaster before moving onto a theme as those factors influence what it can be themed to. If it's a big ride then it can't be Muppets themed, etc... :p

Still 2 days left on the poll yet!

I know, but how many more people out there will see this thread? If all else fails we'll just have to ask in the shoutbox and/or chat.

Edit: I'll also add that I've come up with a couple of logos too.

Don't worry Al. Leave the theme to me!

It doesn't matter how big the rides is for now, as the themes I am focusing on are not final and can be altered to fit the final ride. It will be full of theming!

Then, a quick lay out of the final ride can be made by all of us together, so that we all have input in it, and then I'll get to work designing the real theming!

Theming choices will appear soon!

SLC, B&M, Face-to-Face or Intamin Suspended? Although I guess most will go with the B&M, I wouldn't mind opting for a Face-to-Face coaster because there aren't very many of them out there. It'd be quite a unique ride too. :p

Just a quick reminder that there is only 2 hours before the poll closes. Make sure to pick what coaster type you want. :)

Hello!
Seems I'm going to be helping out to, with some ride concept art and mainly things on the graphics side, and getting the good ol' Photoshop magic up and running :)

I'd like to mention a handy piece of free software here, that basically lets people share each others screens. Basically, when downloaded you get given a code, and people can use this code to see what it is you are doing on your screen. Not anyone can do this, as you have to give them the code but it's free and easy to use- there's a messaging feature in it as well so if people are watching others whom are involved with various parts of the project, they can chip in and help by saying what looks good, ideas etc rather than having to finish a part, then have to tweak it after finishing. You can also let other viewers take control of your screen, so they can change something if they really need to and can't explain what they mean via messages. The problem with this feature though is it can be pretty laggy dependant on the two peoples internet connection. (It's awful with mine, as my internet connection is pretty much the worst you can get.)
https://join.me/ < the site is there, just click onto 'Basic' and then the orange button. To save unwanted people looking at screens, share your codes through PM- the code will always stay the same.

Thanks for joining in Elly!

The software sounds very intriguing, I'll have to check it out and see how it would work for us, and will be very good for more secretive parts of the project.

Back to the coaster, I see that you have chosen inverted coaster.

I presume by that you all want B&M inverted, and if not, please speak up. Any ideas anyone has or any interesting elements you've seen, feel free to post them in here, or PM anyone in the team.

Anyway, B&M coaster sounds like fun! :)

Sounds like an idea. Put my RCT in if you want to. My Youtube name is the same as my TST username.

I'll go with either the Vekoma Face-to-face or the Intamin Suspended. The B&M inverted just seems far to typical for an AT fan site. ;) :p

My vote is for B&M invert, by far the best and the nicest looking track as well :)
