Arrested Development (series 4)

Any fans of Arrested Development here?

The new series launched on Netflix yesterday, and my friend and I had a marathon session watching all 15 episodes. As a big fan of the original series, I'm really impressed with the quality of the new episodes. All too often when a series is brought back after so long, they are usually terrible. But thankfully the new series retains the same quality, whilst making the most out of the new format (each episode revolves around a specific member of the Bluth family, and it works surprisingly well).

There's plenty of great plot twists, loads of cameos, and returns of classic characters (although there's no Franklin). Tobias and Gob are probably the strongest characters, although they always have been, both coming out with the real stand-out moments of the new series. I don't want to spoil too much, but I love Tobias's licence plate "ANUSTART"

Bwahahahaha! I think there are a few people round here that would like that number plate.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of the show, but what I have seen of it is pretty funny. (Kelpie watches it, so I've seen about half the episodes. Out of order, of course.)

I thought they were going to make a film rather than another series? Wasn't that the whole point of Maybe's sub plot in the last few episodes?

Meh, I just can't see Michael without thinking of Dodgeball.

There's still talks of a film - I believe season four leaves the door open.

I watched the first two episodes of S4 earlier this evening. So far so good!
