MINI MEET: Annual Evening Trip! 22.10.13

Every year, I, together with Sharron, arrange a Scarefest evening visit for those of us lucky to live reasonably close to the resort.

This year, the event was thrown into doubt when Alton announced the park would be closing at 7pm... but fear not, it's 9pm! Hoorah!

Here's the plan:

Date: Tuesday, 22nd October 2013
Time: 5:00pm at Splash Landings Hotel Lobby

We are unlikely to do all the mazes, although if the Carnival has no queue, we will probably go through that, and Zombies!

I would love to come like I have done for the past few years, but unfortunately that week i'm on a course in Manchester and staying over :(

I've used my AP about 5/4 times in a year. No point forking out silly money on a new one, especially with no major new attractions next year!!
 
If this was on the Wednesday or the Thursday I'd be there like a shot, but alas :( Sure I'll see you anyway!
 
What a great idea! Doing evening meets that is.

I'd love to join you all again, for the first time since TS started infact, will try and make sure I can come!
 
Won't know for definite until closer to the time, but interested if I'm not all Altoned out after the weekend!

Life's just gone a little bit up in the air, but if I'm free that evening, don't see any reason why me and my freedom pass shouldn't make it - love Scarefest even more on week nights :)

Despite the risk of getting myself stranded in Birmingham at midnight, I'll be there!
 
Myself and Ellie will be on park all day, so we can meet up with you in the evening :)
 
I'll be there, may pop off for a while to do tott though, as this may well be my only visit to scarefest!
 
I don't suppose anyone visiting is passing by Stafford on their way with room in their car? Would like to go but bus and train times are prohibitive!
 
After yesterday's complete soaking my attendance is now weather dependant. Don't fancy more of the same! The forecast seems ok at Towers tomorrow evening though so fingers crossed!

Dar - I am picking up at Tamworth station at 3.35pm. Unsure on how you'd get home. Checked trains from Rugeley Trent Valley to Stafford and there's one at 10.28pm. Then you could get a return to Tamworth which would cover both journeys. Just would ask for £3 or so petrol. Also picking up John at Tamworth and dropping at Rugeley TV too.

Rob - we'll be at Starbucks Uttoxeter at 4.20pm.

Meeting point is 5.15pm at Splash or 5.30pm on Towers Street.

I fully intend to do TOTT and Zombies tomorrow.

Forecast is rain till 4pm then clear.
