Is anybody interested in a pre-Christmas cheap weekend at Alton Towers?

The weekend of 29th November is a themed Pirate Weekend and as usual offers exceptional value when 3 or 4 share a room.

Prices with AP discount in the region of £50pp including 2 nights bed, breakfast and waterpark entry.

Drinks, good food and chatter are also pre requisites!

Just wishing to guage interest, otherwise it's a long time till the Beach Party weekend at the end of January!

I'll certainly be interested, never got to do any last closed season as I was working, but that weekend im off all weekend :D

Are any others looking to share rooms? I think I might have to put aside my fear of sharing rooms after sharing with 4 men last night! :-[

Not sure whether I can afford to come yet, but sharing would definitely help!

Is this likely to affect the likelihood of the Caribbean Beach Party meet going ahead? Only I was quite looking forward to that next year, but this appears to be more or less the same thing, so I do wonder if a) that's still likely to go ahead, and if it does, b) whether many would still be up for it :-S

(For the record, I'd love to do this weekend, but unfortunately I'm unavailable :( )

This is absolutely not a replacement for the Beach Party, which will still go ahead at the end of January.

Basically, last year, a few of us stayed at Alton Towers for a night at the end of November (it was very last minute) and had a great time. This is the same thing, just this time it's more in advance and it's being advertised here!

If there's 10 people staying for this weekend I would be surprised, it's just a small, swimming, drinking, eating session at the resort!
