Hi all,

I've booked myself and my girlfriend 14 days in Orlando early June 2014. I've only ever been to Orlando once before, and that was 15 years ago when I was 8 - so I have relatively no idea what I do when I get there.

We obviously want to visit all the Disney parks, both Universal parks and Seaworld, which most seem fairly easy to get to using Orlando's public buses. Or at least, a few hours online seems to suggest so. We also really want to visit Busch Gardens, and I've noticed there is a shuttle bus that runs each morning, however... does anybody know if this severely shortens your day, such as the bus leaving three hours before the park shuts etc?

Also, we're looking at buying the "MEGA DEAL 4 (2014)" ticket from travelrepublic.co.uk, which gives 14 days entry to all the Disney stuff, Universal parks, Seaworld and Busch Gardens as well as the waterparks. It's priced up at £494 per person, which will hit hard but will hopefully be worth it. Has anybody used Travel Republic before? Is there anywhere better? (Remains hopeful ;) )

Is any advice on the stuff above or things you think would be useful to us. I'll be extremely grateful for any insight you all might have! ;D

I would suggest that it would be cheaper for you to make an itinerary and then buy tickets according to that, rather than shelling out for all 14 days for all parks when you'll be visiting most of them on only a fraction of the days that you're paying for. Also, we've used Undercover Tourist before who offered great prices and a good service - you might want to consider them along with Travel Republic.

That ticket is expensive- I have used orlandoattractions.com the past few times and they charge £435 for essentially the same tickets (full Monty package) -they only send real tickets and are highly recommended on dibb.co.uk (the uks biggest Orlando planing websites)

That deal worked out cheaper than buying just what needed as buying a two day universal pass a 6 day disney pass and the busch/seaworld tickets came to more than buying the above combo pass. Plus you have flexibility to park hop (that's extra on buying the individual tickets) plus can say spend morning in a water park and then visit Epcot in evening.

I would recommend 14 day tickets for Disney and universal, as you then have the flexibility to drop in and out, as someone previously said. Seaworld and Busch are doable in one day, in my opinion. I use floridaescapes.co.uk for tickets.

We used the Busch shuttle service and got everything we wanted to do in, and it only cut an hour or an hour and a half of our time iirc. We went when it was dead, though, but you should be fine.

Thank you for your help. The points you've made have been most useful, and have put my mind at ease in some cases.

The Undercover Tourist website is something I hadn't come across before. Somewhat of a gold mine of a website - a really interesting read as well as useful.
