    Nemesis: Sub-Terra

Nah it's not been confirmed yet, still speculation. I have a feeling that they will want to get it back open in time for the 30th anniversary in 2024, but of course we don't know how long the re-track will take.

    The Smiler - General Discussion

Bit random but I do find it odd that the Tickler is the only marmalizer effect that doesn't actually do anything to the riders (because of clearance of course). The other effects do wet or disorientate the riders.

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

A heads up folks, Chessy could fall within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) if the expansion of it is approved. https://www.surreycomet.co.uk/news/20626044.chessington-world-adventures-visitors-slapped-ulez-charge/

    Nemesis: Sub-Terra

Yeah I'd prefer it to open next year too, in time for Nemmy's closure. A compromise would be it being open for Scarefest and then opening for the whole of next season. Would have to be included in admission though, but the throughput won't be great if it's a maze (and would Towers really want to...

Not necessarily; if someone is unable to understand the concept of queueing, they may not understand that they have to sit in a certain place.

    Eurovision 2023

All 7 cities have a good chance as they all meet the initial criteria (must have a venue that seats at least 10,000 plus space for a press centre, must have sufficient access to an airport and must have sufficient hotel capacity close to the venue).

Another reason RAP queues can get long is most rides only allow a set number of users on per train/cycle. That is for evac reasons of course. Also, there are instances where RAP guests don't want to sit in the designated seats (back row for most coasters). That can lead to hold-ups.

    Eurovision 2023

The Times has very kindly published an article on why they think Sheffield should host Eurovision next year. Annoyingly it's behind a paywall (that's The Times for you), could anyone who has a subscription please quote it for me...

Ride Access Pass Systems and Disabled Access

A doctor's letter (on official, headed paper) would be accepted, as long as it states that your anxiety is the reason you are unable to queue normally. A letter just stating your diagnosis would not be sufficient. Edit: it may have changed, as doctor's letter is not mentioned on the list. I...

Ride Access Pass Systems and Disabled Access

Yeah I think people are forgetting that not every ride at Towers gives a time. You can ride the ones that don't via the exit as many times as you like. The rides covered by the pass (and so give a time) are; Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop, Gangsta Granny: The Ride, Wicker Man, Runaway Mine Train...

Ride Access Pass Systems and Disabled Access

Ahh I see, fair enough. It's definitely just two though. On my last visit to the Beach in 2019 it was fairly busy but not overly so, and I didn't have to use my pass at all. Most waits were below 30 mins If I remember correctly.

I was under the impression that it was already operational. From when it first opened there have been issues with some restraints not showing as locked.
