    Wearing glasses on coasters

I always wear clothing with zip-up pockets to parks so I can carry my glasses and phone without worrying about losing them.

Tomorrow's FA Cup 2nd Round games look far more interesting and at least fans will be able to drink alcohol and wear rainbow clothing!

Sorry, just noticed they forgot to list it on the bottom of the map but it is shown on the map itself very small.

I agree for those of us who don't live in London but it's useful if you do live in London, especially if you can change at Vauxhall and Clapham Junction avoiding zone 1.

That ULEZ charge is for vehicles that don't meet the emission standards, really this only affects diesels built before 2015. You can check your car on the TFL website: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/check-your-vehicle/

    2022: General Discussion

I'd say the best placed coasters for this would be Wicker Man and either Oblivion or Rita, it may not be possible to run those rides for the full day depending on the weather. I also think it's strange there's no Get Set Go or Driving School although the former usually closes at dusk so it...

What does the future hold for rapids rides in the UK?

Thorpe in comparison has quite a lot of water rides of different wetness levels: Rumba Rapids is about as dry as Congo although the waterfall is still on, Storm Surge would have a good wetness level if the rafts didn't flood so easily (would also help if the throughput was decent), Tidal Wave is...

    Runaway Mine Train: General Discussion

She should last a good deal longer, Thunder Run at Canada's Wonderland is 41 years old and there are plenty of other Mack Powered Coasters well into their 30s still going so I can't see RMT going any time soon. What I think is more likely in the coming years is Congo River Rapids getting...

The 2026 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Canada, the USA and Mexico, better than Qatar but rather impractical. Bidding for 2030 is currently between Morocco, Uruguay/Paraguay/Argentina/Chile, Spain/Portugal/Ukraine and Egypt/Greece/Saudi Arabia. Wouldn't be happy with the latter but I don't...

I find it interesting that Thorpe and Legoland both have small outdoor 'splash parks' with short operating calendars, I would have thought it would be better in terms of space, usability and quality to just have one proper indoor waterpark at one of the three parks.

Really this is the perfect excuse to go out and watch lower league games. Manchester fan (either colour) wondering how to survive the next month? Go watch League 2 Stockport County V Leyton Orient on Saturday! If you aren't able to get out then there are still plenty of Women's Super League and...

    London Entertainment Resort: All Discussion

Parks and nature reserves can become quite popular attractions in their own right. Near me Dunstable Downs is literally just a visitor centre with a shop & cafe, and lots of hills yet the place is incredibly popular with those who want to go on a long walk or cycle ride, fly a kite or just have...
