I believe the Live events were stopped due to issues with guests attacking the actors were they not?
I may be misremembering and it may have just been a classic budget cut
The best thing the Labour Party could do is to split and have one side as the Left wing, socialist party and the other side the more centre, “modest” party.
As it stands, the party is divided. It has been for years and years.
The argument that Labour had gone too far left and had lost touch...
Good quality POV in the video above.
It looks absolutely outstanding - the pace it carries throughout the full ride course, slamming into the end brake run is brilliant. I was worried it might end up being a bit slower on the launches and losing some speed but no wories now. Really need a trip...
Thirteen was heavily mis-marketed but it did the job, built up the hype and brought in visitors.
The ride is fairly decent as far as family thrill coasters go. You always come off having a laugh and the crypt drop sequence is really well done (including the false drop at the start which still...
I imagine they must have plans to change the area over in the not so distant future or else they wouldn’t have branded the new coaster as JW.
With Covid, I imagine their plans were delayed but I can see them changing the whole land over in the next 5 years or so whilst the Jurassic World...
Mardi Gras is a great choice - little bit off with the timing in the year but it’s a great way to have a colourful celebration.
I’ll be interested to see if they have any sort of parade going for this
Universal have just uploaded this trailer for the coaster:
Looks like there'll be fire effects and lighting in additional to a small pre-show. Good to see that the trains will have the lap bar style restraints too
EDIT: A couple of stats and additional info have been released too:
- Two...
I’m interested by the summer 2021 announcement. I expected it to be closer to late March/early April myself.
Glad that it’s finally been announced though so hopefully we’ll get some good marketing coming soon
That actually makes the event more like the German Oktoberfest events does it not?
I believe they normally have waiting staff bringing the drinks to you (hence the photos of staff carrying about 10 steins at once).
I suppose with baggage they could have tried to incorporate something similar to Rita where you can get access to it on both sides, just before you go into the preshow and just after you exit
The other option would be full on lockers outside of the attraction which you can rent for free
It’s probably been asked in the past but how many staff members were required to run the ride and how many were assigned to each post?
I always thought it was a shame that there was only the one drop on the ride really. Different drop patterns similar to Tower of Terror would’ve made its...
Looks like the event is off to a good start! I guess it's lucky that they planned an event which could be easily altered with social distancing in mind.
I expected food prices to be inflated and £8 for a Bratwurst is a joke - I thought the Christmas markets were usually bad! Any news on if...
