    The Smiler - General Discussion

No. The lift hill is a separate block from the Brake behind it. So 2 trains can be at the bottom of the first lift hill. So one could dispatch and after 10 seconds it'd be clear of the first brake block. Then dispatch second train and that waits on this brake until the lift is clear.

    The Smiler - General Discussion

It would benefit from just a double dispatch feature like Saw or Oblivion, as there is a block before the first lift hill after the tunnel.

    Legoland Florida: Expansion

From what I gather Legoland Florida is popular among the domestic visitor demographic as opposed to the international.

    Legoland Florida: Expansion

I can't believe there's a market for this tosh with so many world class parks/resorts further up the road.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

With free entry the park was rife with crime and breakouts of fights was commonplace. A bit like London now in many respects!

That is not amazing. It is about average. The Smiler is designed to dispatch a train in the station once the train in front is 3/4s up the first lift hill! :)

    The Merlin VIP Annual Pass

Entirely true. It is also often overlooked that Merlin's Board of Directors have the KPIs directly linked to their bonus remuneration. As far as I am aware/constantly see, is that "VIPs" (I use the term loosely) used to complain forever and a day, over the most insignificant of things!

    The Merlin VIP Annual Pass

It isn't discrimination because many theme parks around the world, including BPB, implement this method. You also forget that the whole point of the RAP queue is that it can be kept to a minimum. So, if every man and his dog joins with 3 carers then it means there's a big queue for it - which...

    The Merlin VIP Annual Pass

Off topic, I know. Alongside the removal of VIP Passes, in order to boost further capacity Merlin should hastily review the RAP rules, something in line with BPB who have a great system. Only 1 carer and a time card system. Implementing this system across all RTPs would hugely increase capacity.

Smart move from Alton by switching the bronze fastrack from Rita to Galatica, freeing up the much needed capacity of Rita and utilising Galactica's increased throughput. :)
