    Duel. Time to say goodbye?

https://towersstreet.com/talk/threads/alton-towers-merlin-typos-grammatical-errors.5798/post-362306 This wasn't actually a spelling mistake, this was a subtle hint to the eagle-eyed enthusiasts online. New for 2023: Dual - The Haunted House Twice Rehashed! Cleverly named over the number of dark...

    General Hotel Discussion

Unless they've changed anything over closed season I would grab some cereal and leave ASAP.

    Food & Beverage 2021

Made the mistake of arranging breakfast at the Crooked Spoon a couple weeks ago now, was a first time for us staying in the EV complex so was very curious to see how it compared to the low bar that is Flambo's, pretty much the exact same miserable experience. I've had a more pleasant experience...

    Fireworks 2021

You would think the fireworks had already happened from the state of the green.

    Scarefest 2021

Perhaps I just need to move on from my grievances then, I still miss the days of experiences that I'd argue of the same quality, but for free. Those of which were the Scare Zones they had on offer or even TotT. I doubt we will go back to those days, but I think giving everyone a taste of what...

How many times are we going to go in circles on this debate?

    2021: General Discussion

Very well deserved time off at that, the shifts they work during Scarefest seem very unforgiving.

The Alton Towers Music, Video and Other Multimedia Thread

Blue Peter did a segment on Scarefest's Trick o' Treat Town: Shows a general layout of the attraction. It does a pretty good job at advertising it for kids, thought there was a strange emphasis on the smells, would have thought maybe it would have tied into a specific smell pod brand...

    Duel. Time to say goodbye?

I had a similar experience too, where surprisingly -almost- everything at least moved a little. Even the disco balls on the trommel face (the actual tunnel is a write off). There was even heat being blasted off during the finale. Doesn't really add to much however, as @Matt.GC says, the way in...

    Scarefest 2021

Exactly, and they had demand too. It was last time I remember Duel being queued for the entire length of the extended queue. (Unless you count last weekend where it was bucketing down and Duel was the only indoor attraction that was open)

    Scarefest 2021

After visiting this weekend I honestly don't have very many positive things to say regarding Scarefest, there's not really much you can elaborate on an event which has done almost nothing to change from the previous year. Mine Tours: Very good as always, despite that, this is its' 6th year of...

    Scarefest 2021

Apparently the heavy metal music is back.

    Scarefest 2021

For those who aren't going to do Trick or Treat Town, or are sceptical, seems like this YouTube channel has been given access to film throughout most of the attraction. Alton seems really inconsistent on which platforms get to film but I suppose they have demographics considered for this sort of...

    Scarefest 2021

They kept cancelling their spooktacular events repeatedly from 2004-2006. After the sudden cancellation of the event yet again in 06 a small team managed to put together Room 13 in the AT hotel, with how successful it was I'd like to think this is what led to the reimagining of the event into...

    Scarefest 2021

Heard a few people's opinions on it, supposedly set designs are pretty good and it's overall a fun family experience, however £10 is just way too much. It does indeed make use of the elevator rooms, everything gutted bar the truss above.

    Duel. Time to say goodbye?

My thoughts exactly, honestly hilarious at the thought of it being a surprise.
