    2022: General Discussion

It does look good, although this feels more like a Summer event, rather than something for Easter.

    Summer of Fun

The difference being Gardaland music is about the park itself rather than just summer generally (from someone who is a big fan of the way Gardaland uses music throughout the park). I just don't think this new song really works as the entrance music for a park like Alton, although saying that, it...

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2021 Discussion

Are there any good offers for the park at the moment for tickets? Did have a quick look at a date in September, which was coming up £5 more than towers. Don't think this is usually the case, so does seem odd

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

I believe Swarm is a permanent change but the rest of the new audio is only temporary for parkvibes.

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

I visited earlier this week and managed to get on all the coasters except Swarm (13 rides in total). It definitely was a busy day but from looking at queue times, it could have been much worse. Unfortunately, it does seem like DBGT needs to go. Loading wise, each carriage is only taking 15...

    Transport from Stafford.

I used it a few weeks ago. It drops you off directly by the entrance of the park so at least you don't need to do the long walk or the monorail, but it arrives a lot later than the park's opening time.

    Transport from Stafford.

The bus itself works fine. Just is annoying how it arrives to the park 40 minutes late so by the time you arrive, most rides already have long queues.

    The Smiler - General Discussion

Don't know if it was maybe train number but the back row seemed very smooth when I visited on Thursday. Force wise, it didn't feel too different to the front, although there was definitely a stronger pull off both lift hills.

    General Queue Times Discussion

Definitely was a busy day today and a fair bit of downtime on Nemesis and Oblivion. Glad I managed to get on Smiler, WM and GG, but was a low ride count with the high queue times

    Drayton Manor Park

When are the rapids even supposed to be opening? Only seen Summer, but heard one person saying the rapids have started testing

    Gardaland

Ramses was an awful attraction. There was a fair amount of strobe lighting but the story didn't make much sense, especially compared to the original non-shooting attraction (Valley of the Kings). It's good to see construction finally happen on the site, as a jumanji family launch coaster has...

    General Queue Times Discussion

How accurate are queue times on the app at the moment? They definitely seem to be longer than what I would usually expect for non-school holiday midweek days.

    Park Hours: Updates and Discussion

Does the X41 bus (the one from the park to Stafford) time change depending on whether if there are 4pm closures because if not there's going to be guests waiting for 1.5 hours at the end of the day for the bus? Seems a little odd, but I'm guessing this happens

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Looks like a family boomerang, which is a little disappointing. At least, the family motorbike coaster would have been more unique to the UK, rather than another similar ride to Paultons (both will now have a disko, SBF drop tower and boomerang).

    Park Hours: Updates and Discussion

10-4 on a June weekday seems incredibly short. Thought it's usually more like 5

The other thing about Croc Drop is initially the plans suggested that the loading area was going to be built at a lower level, which probably would have looked better. Also, just noticed there was supposed to be some kind of theming feature on the top of the tower, which clearly wasn't used in...

    Controversial Alton Towers Opinions

Going to go for a properly controversial one but would rather be on Th13teen than Nemesis. Of course, the pacing and scenery of Nemesis is unmatched but it's a pretty shaky coaster that has a fair bit of head-banging. Meanwhile, 13 is considerably smoother and has a unique ending, even once you...

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

The video itself was clickbait. Basically just cutting down trees, but nothing about anything new.

Just an update on something mentioned earlier, Nick Hutson has been confirmed for doing the audio for Croc Drop.
