    CBeebies Land: Second Gate?

Maybe they shouldn't go just for CBbeebies land then. Unless they want to put in a third entrance for all the thrill seekers who are going just to ride Nemesis, Air, Ripsaw, Sub Terra and Blade, I don't see how a new land justifies a new entrance as well.

    The world's worst themed coasters.

It doesn't look that bad in person admittedly but it is a bit of a colour mess. Even weirder when you'd think the colour in the rides name would be on the ride a bit more. Ah well. Aww poor Scream. Everyone thinks it started the car park trend when Medusa at Discovery Kingdom got that acclaim...

Do you think they will get rid of nemesis and air in the next 2 years?

Both Tatsu and Manta make that noise as well, if it was easy to get rid of then I assume those two wouldn't have the screeching noise either.

Do you think they will get rid of nemesis and air in the next 2 years?

Aside from changing the layout, how could you refurbish Air to bring it up with the newer models?

    Kings Island: General Discussion

Yeah it's amazing what happens when a park invites you to a media day isn't it.. (Not that I am cynical of TPR in anyway :P )

    Liseberg: General Discussion

Right, because Towers have never done such original rides like this before and Nemesis, Oblivion, Air, Thirteen, The Smiler and Raptor are original concepts that Merlin/Tussauds have never dared to landscape or attempt, thematically. Please, it's very easy to attack Merlin for just about...

    Themed rollercoasters (really good ones)

I completely forgot about those bits of unthemed Oz'Iris :-[

    Themed rollercoasters (really good ones)

Ah see this is it really. Hulk has a great storyline but its theming isn't well.. erm... Thanks to RCDB. I can't think of many rides that are completely themed, top to bottom with a story. Even Nemesis doesn't exactly tell you it's story. Off the top of my head, I can only think of Oz'Iris...

Thorpe Park: Europe's most un-resorty resort

Thorpe has a low water table hence why everything sticks upwards instead.

    2014: General Discussion

You must read different Disney forums to me then! Every thing that seems to get done at Magic Kingdom in particular is meticulously scrutinised. I remember the 100 page topic when the main street bakery was turned into a Starbucks and nearly all the posts were about how Disney had ruined their...

    2014: General Discussion

The idea of opening Nemesis, Blade and chosen attractions that side of the park for 9am ERT, goes directly against the rides chosen that are opening late. Which begs the question, why have ERT at all in the Valley if you have to make two separate trips back there just to get on everything (what...

Yes.. well.. it is in a shop. So I'd expect nothing less. ;D

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

As long as its still manual, its the best ride to operate. I'll never forget the round of applauses I got from my days as a Runaway operator. ;D

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

It was far worse. Packed rides, even busier places to eat. One of only two times that I've just walked out the park in absolute rage.

    2014: General Discussion

People pay the same amount to get in for these quieter days as they do the busier days. They should get the same level of availability really. Certainly at Disney, World Showcase may open later then the rest of the park, but you do get a good twelve hours for the majority of the year to do the...

    Park Hours 2014

People will stay if they are given a reason to stay. If the park overlords opened their wallets a bit, put on some kind of show in front of the towers, advertise the heck out of it, people could be encouraged to put off the drive home and stay to watch. It astounds me how Towers never think how...

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

It's not a race to the bottom you know. We could all do better then name a hotel 'Safari Hotel' I could throw out Serengeti Lodge for example and it already sounds less generic then Chessington's efforts. Besides, Chessington in a million years would never name a ride The Smiler, that takes a...

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

That is something that will never be solved. They can't dig down because of the low water table so they can only build up. In such a small space, it's inevitable that everything can be seen from outside the dome. But In my own view, that's one of Thorpe's biggest strengths. For first timers who...

Universal Orlando (Studios/IOA/Epic Universe) : General Discussion

I do wonder. When Islands of Adventure opened, Disney were worried and attendance remained stable/increased. When Wizarding World of Harry potter opened, the same occurred and ever since the area opened, Disney has seen increased attendance across its estate. Perhaps when the extension opens...

    Doctor Who

In preparation for Matt Smith's final story, on Christmas Eve I watched his first story to see where he came from when he started to where he ended up in Time of the Doctor. In the Eleventh Hour he was a quiet soul, funny and unassuming and yet behind the quirky lines, lay something far darker...
