Hex will be back quite soon imo.Last time i went towers, Hex music was playing all over the monorail & park which means they know we are missing it and want us to feel its still there in the park with us whilst they spruce it up.Quite a nifty trick!

To replace the flume i would like to see a wooden style coaster similar to rmt but it goes through long tunnel sections maybe one with a chainlift section halfway through that corporate water,lighting effects with a unique western theme to it!.Fit in mutiny bay well i reckon. Either way towers...

Very good point about the sports strap being sold at towers.They could have alton towers written on em which would sell alot i reckon as alot of young uns these days wear specs just for fashion unlike years ago.

Since you mention spinball ive had the same with that aswell, clicks into place at the top of the first turn at the top of the chainlift just like it was halfway locked then fully locked after the force of the turn. Maybe i leave a slight gap when the restraints are checked then when im thrown...

You can have the restraints on air half way between clicks when u pull them down and when force is applied it goes to the higher or lower lock usually on the roll section when it straightens back up. Im sure this has happened to others?

Thanks all for the replies.The reason i asked is because when on 13's drop it proper gets u in the gut even though it aint that far a drop and thought that oblivion was a similar gut wrench but on a bigger scale.Any more than thirteens sensation wud be a bit too much for the belly and soul lol...

Just to let you all know my lad messaged Alton towers and they replied saying that the monorail will be operating from 8:30am on Thursday so it will be open! So thats spot on i love going on the monorail journey to the park even with all the other smelly peasants lol Barry! Cheers all!

Ive heard that the monorail has not been operating in the mornings.Could anyone shed any light on this? Cuz if its true i can re arrange where i will park my car so its closer to the entrance when i go on thursday. Cheers all!
