Hello! We have booked us a two night stay at Hotel Matamba and a 1 day park ticket, which we plan to use on the day in between the hotel stays. It’s struck us that the ticket may be dated for specific entry (ie the day we arrive rather than the ‘middle’ day), but we can’t find anything online...

Thank goodness! This year it closed on Tuesday (Halloween) of the South Yorkshire half term, so I didn't make it! Glad they've realised not all surrounding areas have the same half term week!

Brilliant day! Spent all day on park, was busy, but we carefully picked rides so we had minimal queues - and the fireworks were awesome!

@Leah I went last Sunday and it was really quiet - everything was walk on all day, bar Ben Ten. It's a great little park; maybe try a Sunday soon in early season if you can't do midweek (and if you *do* midweek, watch out! Lots of schools visit Drayton and those days get very busy!)

They've taken 'corrected' off the signs on the wall at the vertical lift too - it just says 'halfway' now. Of course, you can still see the outline of the letters and the screws holes in the concrete!

Maybe with Spinball to Smiler, Smiler to Rita and Valley to RMT, it's just one big anti-clockwise rotation around the park. Whatever happened, it was a very focused lady pushing the buttons on The Smiler, with a guy in regular Towers gear taking over. Quite a lot of focus and pressure on them...

The single rider queue always worked pretty well, I'm hoping it's quick paced when I head down this week!
