The amount of materials and labour and the size of the Smiler compared to Thirteen is just amazing surely the difference of 3 million there must of been a lie in the cost or some nice backhanders!!

Looking at the wooden structure at the bottom of the site might well be smiler games.
What do you guys think the g-forces on this ride will be? With a top speed of 52 mph surely they should be quite intense with the tightness of the track.

Going by the that last photo it looks like the the first drop into the underground section. You can just see the fried chicken place in the background. The photo looks like it was taken from the opposite side of the photo Alton towers posted of batwing...

I've been a skateboarder for a very long time, to be inverted is to have your feet above your head. As in skateboarding and doing a hand plant on a half-pipe you are inverted to the level floor. With your legs directly above your head.

What do you think to the idea that the bottom half of the bat wing and cobra roll will be in the pit, which will then be covered over so that it would be like oblivions hole, so you will have above ground and underground section. Hard to explain...
I've not been to the fireworks for ages but the time I last went they where amazing! It sounds this time round m£rlin cut backs are again in the fore front of m£rlins cost cutting mind!
