I was there Yesterday and no question ride availability was poor but bad weather can't be helped and the fact they've offered free return tickets is a nice gesture. But what I wanted to praise the park on was for the first time attending theme parks I actually saw a group evicted from a queue...
Thank you, I appreciate that. But I remember there used to be a page on the website with a list of days affected by bad weather only I can't find it now.
I'm the wrong end of my 40's and still very much have the appetite for Theme parks and are more than likely be in my 60's 😲 before this opens. But personally I can't wait.
This seems to imply the Dungeons aren't done yet and only temporarily closed! Which personally I feel is a shame I was hoping for a permanent replacement.
Let's be honest no one can make an informed opinion until they finally visit the area, but we can have an opinion on what we've seen so far. I personally am not a fan of painting everything black, you only have to look at the Smiler to see how easily it gets dirty, and if you've ever owned a...
The positive I'm taking from this news is the hope of Hex returning next year. As much as I don't like the Retro Squad they did serve a purpose. I'm wondering if the returning capacity monster Nemesis and possible return of Hex is what's made them make this decision. I'm not convinced any new...
Isn't it ironic that in 2024 Nemesis will be opening up against the tallest rollercoaster built in the uk again as it did in 1994! and I wonder if it will trump it again as it did the Big One? Either way I can't wait for both coasters, the brand new shiny Hyperia at Thorpe and the return of the...
I'm probably very much alone in this opinion but I don't get this trend of coasters with Spikes and backward sections. Would this be any less impressive if it just launched straight into the 120mph? Whether that's achievable in one launch I'm not sure.
I am shocked at reading about all these horror stories from PA. Only we visited at Easter and were pleasantly surprised with how good operations were. Even when Shambhala had a queue, which at one point extended out the cattle pen, operations whittled it down super fast! Almost Silver Star...
Something else I found irritating other than the queue jumping was smoking in the queue lines, a lot of the queue lines are under cover so accentuates the issue.
Does anyone know when traditionally PortAventura opens for the year? I only ask as I've booked to go next year over the Easter Weekend (4th-11Apr) I would be very surprised if it wasn't but noticed it opened on the 8th this year a week before easter so is that normal?
We were at Towers Yesterday and can confirm water was available from most of the freestyle machines only a couple had the water option missing but each time the machine next to the one without it had it!
We ridden it gone 10pm back in April, something to bear in mind if it's anyones first time, is the stairs to the monorail station maybe locked but there is an elevator with an intercom where you can speak to the driver who when he arrives opens the doors to the elevator and then drives you back...
Everyones obsession on what rollercoaster Paultons should get next makes me laugh, much like Towers I'm not sure a rollercoaster is a major priority for Paultons next big investment. It really is crying out for a dark ride or a well themed water ride to replace raging river ride! and it too...
