    Either it'll kick then into gear a bit, or they'll fade away quietly. If they don't do something to make some noise in the face of the inevitable (if Universal goes ahead) Merlin and Universal arms race then I think they could go extinct if they don't change their ways.

    It's baffling really. Feels like they're going for surge pricing for a park that's dead 90% of the time... Mandy, that you? In seriousness though, it's all guesswork without having the data, who knows if POP, a walkaround pass and ride tickets or some combination of the two is the way to go.

    Planned maintenance to me is "oh we need to bring the ride down for a week on these dates to change out the thingy", whereas this seems to be "it's broken, we need to close it" which doesn't sound very planned...

    Screams cost cutting to me, rather than 'building for the future' or whatever. With the best will in the world I can't see anything going on the Grand Prix site for a long while.

    I typically dislike companies that are beholden to shareholders, but in BPBs case at least if it wasn't family run Amanda would have been ousted long ago and the park might be in a better shape.
