With regards to AP discount in queueline stalls I received the standard 20% off in the Thirteen queue on Saturday, although it was clear that the poor girl was doing the sum in her head as she looked pained during the process!
I have a slightly odd way of counting in that I wouldn't count something I couldn't ride ALL of. So for example Go Gators, some parks (no matter how much you may beg or plead) will simply not let you on them. And if I can't go on one, I won't go on any and so do not count that ride type.
There...
I think the thing with RMC is that because we've only seen them built in American parks so far they've kind of gained this reputation that they're not suitable for smaller European parks, maybe they're seen as being out of our league or something? I think the coasters themselves are incredibly...
This is absolutely stunning, I was a bit apprehensive at how Efteling would make such a brute of a coaster into something that fits nicely in with their magical aesthetic, and they've pulled it off beautifully.
And also, despite being a massive fan of Efteling and its
offerings of moderate...
Must have been a mix up somewhere surely? As much as I bemoan Thorpe's latest....attractions I still like to think that they're not that evil that they'd advertise stuff as open even though it's closed on purpose.
You say that, but they are clearly threatened by this 'newer' way of theming. By newer I mean going the extra step and having 'themed' food/merchandise to compliment the area and create a more immersive experience as a whole. Hence why they introduced things like LaFou's Brew in New Fantasyland...
^they also confirmed that any Star Wars attractions will be based on the new films only, so once again totally ignoring the rich pot of inspiration literally sitting there waiting for them to use. Fools.
It won't cheapen the park and I suppose it does contain fantasy creatures and landscapes (even if they are aliens) which is I suppose what they were going for originally with Beastly Kingdom.
What annoys me is the movie theme being used in a non-movie themed theme park. Disney get away with...
It does make sense in theory, doesn't make it any less ridiculous.
The sad thing is is that this hits those who don't have the foresight to look ahead and book online, and prefer to go the old school route and just turn up. They really need to plug the 'book online and save a ton' angle hard...
^Tomb Blaster is on its last legs as it is, I've heard from so many different people that it barely got let off last season when Runaway and Dragon Falls had their theming demolished, and those rides are (mostly) outdoors!
I'll be very surprised to see Tomb last much longer.
Don't the park have a lot of trouble with planning permission due to being on a green belt? I think they probably got away with the hotels because they're beneficial to the local community with creating new jobs etc but what would a new coaster bring? Noise? Unsightliness? I think people forget...
They do look cute, just wish there was a touch more variation with roof/chimney shapes or even door colours rather than the same thing copied and pasted everywhere.
