Someone had already applied for wild mouse listed status well before it was demolished and it was declined on the grounds that it had been modified .
So I don't think the park had to worry about wild mouse being listed either. They were probably more worried about protests and people...
Going back to the pants thing.
I am sure there's a tag line to be thought up for Alice pants.
Something to do with going down the Rabbit hole !

Not if you live in South Yorkshire. No way to get there in time or leave late enough.
@Matt N - I suggest you save your money and get some driving lessons , if you don't already drive.
As for the parks, the only one I have done this century is Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach (and Joyland)...
Heard from @Rick today via the magic of WhatsApp. He was on park today. Big One shut due to wind, but to make up for it they decided to run Icon on ONE train. Over an hour queue apparently.

Went to Roundhay park in Leeds for a parkrun on Saturday. £7.70 for a slice of cake and a cup of tea. I am still recovering!!
I don't know what the answer is at pleasure beach but I can tell you with the up most...
As an owner of a single child , it always frustrated me that you needed two kids to get a family discount on most things. Very few places offer a discount for families with one child.
But yes it's over priced in my opinion.
A Saturday for a family of 4 , if you factor in parking, food and...
So prices have changed again. Saturdays are now either £40, £39 or £38.
And look at the prices for April. How many different entry prices do they need.
In the space of a week it goes from £38 to £36.25 to £35.50 to £40 to £35.50 again, then to £35 and then back to £35.50
Who is typing these...
Sorry, I meant Pleasure Beach as I assumed that is what @jesterrace989 was referring to.
Apologies as we seem to be slightly off topic here. So I will leave it there.
Back to pleasure land. If they ever get that new coaster , I will definitely pay a visit. But I can't see it coming any time...
Accounts say differently I am afraid . Almost every year is a loss. Sometimes a big loss. They are visibly struggling. But the park is run by a very stubborn woman who knows best.

Maybe, I don't really know much about Southport. Visited Pontins there when I was a kid in the 70s.
I am so old !!

Most seaside parks still have some sort of pay per ride option. This may not mean totally free entry, as is the case for Great Yarmouth for example (where you must buy a minimum amount of tokens to enter), but I think it is a mistake for parks that have a lot of walk up trade to ignore the PPR...
Does it work ? If you call losing money almost every year working, then yes.
But I suppose this is a debate for the Blackpool thread and one we have had many times before.

Yes, it's a stupid decision. They only have to look up the road to see another park that is failing with a stubborn POP policy.
