I think the rides will remain the same, they are probably just doing what they normally do throughout the winter period and replace the rotten wood on the rides. The Big Dipper will probably look a mess for quite a while.
I did it for free on Halloween, I'd love to have another evac it was brilliant! ;D
Just to add to that...
The Big Dipper and the Grand National structures will receive no more paint, BPB are going to be replacing all of the wood over the next 10 years (I think this is just an estimate)...
I rode it on Wednesday without a preview ticket! I really enjoyed the ride the theming is great and there is quite a lot of things happening in the maority of the scenes which makes the ride experience even better. I also decided to buy a stick of the cheese rock from the shop, I must say it is...
I'm guessing you didn't visit on Halloween as everything was running to the highest capacity possible with a very quiet park, it really was fantastic too see BPB running at it's best for once. Even The Grand National was on 4 trains all day with no queue during the day and a 1 train wait later on!
Well it's not the best app out there but it's quite nice and simple to use, has the basics on it e.g. Ride/park info, POVs and also includes offers which you can use when you visit the park.
I think they look great, I'm looking forward to riding this now! :)
BPB have also launched their mobile app which is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for Android phones.
Be amongst the very first to ride the worlds first Wallace Gromit themed ride - The Thrill-o-Matic here at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
All preview ticket holders are guaranteed to be the first people to be informed of the preview dates to be announced in March.Riders will also receive a...
I have a platinum pass for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and I'm sure I will get another next year if there is another offer on, there is no way I'm paying £189.60 for one!
Rumours are suggesting that the Eddie Stobart, Tea Cups , Dodgems, Monorail, Grand Prix, and the Wild Mouse will be closed/removed next year :'( Holiday Rock FM is also supposed to be closed at the end of the season!!
BPB are very good at extending their closing times. However the opening hours of 11-5 for the majority of days this month is awful and most rides won't even open until 11:30 or later!! It put me off going to the park today! ???
