    Efteling: General Discussion

I'm sure I read something about the contracted construction company going into administration... I'm sure that could be causing a few delays. Hopefully they're still on track for 2024 as we are planning to visit next year.

    Efteling: General Discussion

Enjoy! We’ve just come back from our second visit, and it was even more magical than our first. Such friendly staff, amazing ops, a great balance of rides, and such a high standard of upkeep. What a place! The only negative was that Halve Maen was shut all week for what seems to be unscheduled...

    Paultons Park: General Discussion

My son is 4 1/2 years old, and 1.1m tall. He happily goes on Storm Chaser and Pterosaur. My assumption is that many 4 / 5 year olds can enjoy these rides and find Peppa Pig World slightly boring for their age.

    Thorpe Park: General Discussion

I can also attest to this. Visited the year it opened, then again last year. It’s gone from being slow and lumbering (but an enjoyable first drop), to being quite forceful and well paced, the zero g roll in particular caught me off guard.

    Efteling: General Discussion

Excluding Carnival Festival, I think it’s more the case that the attractions are done to such a high standard in the first place, that not much needs doing aside from maintenance. The new lighting system is quite an upgrade however.

    'High Profile' Enthusiasts: A discussion

I can understand why AT are upset... why would someone buy an official photo when you can take your own lovely selfie... In all seriousness, this whole discussion is just a little over the top. However, I will say that I've had the unfortunate experience of riding on the same wicker man train...

    Incident on The Smiler 02/06/2015

Or even simpler, after any reset send one more test car round and Wait for it to come back before sending a loaded train! Isn't this common sense?!

    Incident on The Smiler 02/06/2015

I'm stuck on one thing with this disturbing incident. Surely, if the ride has a safety cut out or breaks down, they send a test car after the repair/check to ensure that its all ok. The sole purpose of the test car is to see if it makes it around safely! Why would you send another car out...

    29th August Trip Report

First time I queued for 1:20 and the second just for the hour. It just doesn't bother me much, plenty to look at. And the claustrophobic element adds to the building of excitement. The station platform itself however, is extremely dull!

    The Neknomination Game

Again you're assuming that everyone has the same level of common sense as you. I'm not saying it isn't fun... Just critisizing those of whom think its serves people right when they die due to their activities.

    The Neknomination Game

It's all to easy for the many well educated individuals to look at these people drinking god knows what a saying "bloody idiots, it's their own fault" It's too easy to be narrow-minded and not realise that they might not know the consequences of their actions! So let's go back to "if someone...

    The Neknomination Game

What an incredibly naive way of thinking. Are you suggesting that certain people can't fall victim to peer pressure. And do you really believe that because someone has a lapse in judgement or maybe doesn't quite have the aptitude to realise the result of their actions, that person deserves to...

    The Neknomination Game

A few years ago my brother nearly died from downing and top shelf pint. Hearing him say "don't worry mum, I'll keep fighting for you" whilst almost unconscious is something that will stay with me. I'm not against this trend, nor am I trying to stop people's fun. Just remember you can take...

[The Smiler] Construction Updates / Ride Speculation Part 2 *SPOILER FREE*

It's interesting that TT have now updated their "breaking news" article and the header stating not to book tickets for the foreseeable future has vanished. Alot of people look at these forums that are just joe public, what they posted must have caused damage to the park and caused a lot of...

[The Smiler] Construction Updates / Ride Speculation Part 2 *SPOILER FREE*

What an embarrassing attempt at making headlines out of nothing! Talk about 2+1=5! I'm sure this will be a quick fix, it was running brilliantly a while back. I really hope it ends up running at its quickest in the end though... it looked so thrilling!
