The British film industry has been in dire need of studio space for a long time. With Pinewood's original plans being demolished by the NIMBYs and Hollywood rushing to shoot so many of their films that are scheduled for release in 2015 at our studios, there is a lack of space. Even Edgar Wright...
We received confirmation this morning that the maze will be opening again this year, but we were not given a date. I'm thinking that it could open for Smiler's opening weekend and open again during Scarefest. I wouldn't worry about it moving to a different location in the park, that's just the...
Isn't it a little early for April fools? :P I see your point though. ;)
At least they have erected much of the layout. Even if the snow delays Smiler for a couple of days, it should still open in May. Like other Gerstlauers this thing is flying up.
Edit: only just noticed the tiny font at the...
Yes, I saw it on the film set, cast and crew premiere and once at the Imax. Its very good, but Tom Hooper made a terrible decision in
post- production by adding so many close ups to the final edit.
Having a variation of different shots is more interesting. It keeps the audience engaged the...
The long transitions of corridor in between shows were a bit annoying but at least they were themed, plague street in particular! But surely they could add a couple of actors or other interactions/effects to the other long stretches of corridor? That would enhance the experience a great deal...
I was on a tour with you
Nope that was not working on the Tuesday afternoon, which was a shame.
Pretty sure you were on that 3pm tour as well? ;)
In regards to Drop Dead, it's a fun ride but it was never going to be too forceful. Extremis had a surprising amount of force for its size...
Having been to County Hall and Tooley Street, I do find the new one to be far superior.
There is a lot more humour and a couple of shows are more intense.
Theming is a little sparse in a couple of places but this does not detract from the enjoyment.
Although a lot of effects were not working on...
Having attended the MAP preview day, it certainly was a big improvement from Tooley Street. Although some of the effects were not working, which is to be expected at a preview event, the Dungeon is fantastic. A couple of shows are very similar to those found in the original Tooley Street Dungeon...
If we are looking at the same blood and guts show as the one in Tooley Street, it will most likely breath.
But why not move the old dummy? Surely that would have saved money, rather than make a new one from scratch.

Aren't the toilets are outside the entrance to X-Sector? With none of the other toilets at the park bearing any theming, the chances are it will not happen.
If the IDF are so accurate and well trained, then they are going to kill terrorists with precise accuracy.
The weapons the Palestinians do have are capable of killing and have killed many Israelis. And Hamas and Islamic Jihad's missile stockpile has become even deadlier, their newest weapon can...
If there is a resemblance, its very mild and the 'knot' looks more like a pretzel loop.
To be honest I've only associated the interlocking inversions with the smiley dude in the logo, as will the public when this thing opens in May (if we aren't greeted by another delay).
This post is heavy on links to relevant websites and quotes
Now I don't intend on completely sugar coating Israel because I know they have done a couple of questionable things when at war in the past, but what they have done is minor in comparison to the severe war crimes committed America...
EDIT: Rupert, I agree with some of your points, but unfortunately civilians will always be caught up in the cross fire. And it has been a while since I was at school ;)
What I am getting at is the IDF does not mean to target civilians, in fact murdering civilians goes against their rules of...
Time to put this to bed ;)
I recommend you have a read through this article, it discusses the so-called 'atrocities' Israel are supposed to be committing on a 'daily basis'.
