AT is a theme park and all the indications point towards SW8 being in Munity Bay and from current teasers it looks as if SW8 has no link with pirates. So I don't think there is overreactions mainly because AT is a THEME PARK not an amusement park with poorly themed rides dumped anywhere with space.

By doubling each persons presence in volcano bay you basically need the wave pool and lazy rivers to handle everyone in the park which is not feasible and leads to queues for lazy rivers. Alton Towers have just announced their season pass for £55. Good value however does blackout Scarefest, Fireworks and select dates in August and Septemeber

Don't think Alton and all other UK parks have the attendance to justify let alone enough supporting rides and attractions to stop the Volcano Bay situation. Virtual queues should be reserved for large attendance parks like your Magic Mountains, Cedar Point and Disney and Universal.

This will become more common especially with future SW's if drones continue to become more available but could also be used for AT for future teasers for SW's.

If theme parks were at around £120 max I think it would be fair. Unfortunately Merlin will always overprice especially with separate passes but if priced reasonably would probably be quite popular.
