...That sounds like going back to the old books of tickets... Differentation for varying groups...family books of tickets, general books, white knuckle books, and a nice souvenir ticket on the end of the book, and flexible prices on the day for books of tickets...just like it used to be! Older...

You have to remember that all insurance is in fact gambling. You are simply laying off risks by betting you are going to lose. I am not a gambling person, so I keep my insurance costs right down, absolute budget cover, maximised excess/voluntary excess...but still covered. Never had NCD cover...

Ribena passed itself off as a health drink for a great many years, thus rotting many kids teeth in the past. It was pretty much pure sugar, in different forms. Sounds like that government policy is working then! As a kid we got one bottle of cordial between five of us, to last a week. After...

Nope, not ever. All the phalanx/nemesis/eggs bullshit. Leave it out, give me quality landscaping and a decent queueline anyday though.

We need to encourage people to consume fewer calories, especially the dead ones in soft drinks. It's not "relentless curtailing of personal choices", you can still choose sugar, and pay more in most instances. Our population, national and worldwide, is getting fatter and fatter, sad fact...

    Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion

A lot of paint was put on a lot of cold metal in the longest wet period in our lifetimes. The fact that it didn't stick does not surprise me at all. It isn't just gardeners that are sick of the rain. Decorators too. And one or two farmers.

Pay one price. Six hundred on park. Anyone want to try to get a working profit out of that? Another park dying by "the death by a thousand cuts..." Lots of minor problems that tend to snowball into one big problem. Remember Camelot Mandy.

Goosey on a scooter...the price had been six quid for about a decade...and they had added on the River Caves. Jog on.

You are linking two events as cause and effect. The park was quieter yes... But we just don't know what made the park quieter...could have just been people finally having enough of a badly run place...or simply a poor season weatherwise.

From a tight Yorkshiremans perspective of course. I know lots that happily used to pay it on occasion, mates, family and co workers. Even the odd tight tyke.

    What car do you drive?

I don't know how, but we just scored basic buildings and contents for just over a hundred quid.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2024 Discussion

Yup, had this discussion every few years for the last decade or so. The fact that they paid good money for advice that was then ignored...more than once...very, very BPB. You all still fail to understand the situation though. She is completely correct. Her business. Her way. Or else. Now stop...
