I think by age Mine Tours would be first to go and I can’t see The Invitation returning. So that would leave two attractions to fill, whether they fill both or save money with just one new maze I don’t know. I definitely think scare zones need to return (just looking at Thorpe’s success with...
Sure you’ll have fun regardless, try to work against the crowds to maximise potential rides.
(Start in forbidden Valley and work down towards the entrance throughout the day)
This time on Friday,
Spinball Whizzer was on a 5 minute queue (45 minutes today)
&
Wicker Man was on 35 minutes (160 minutes today)
All I can say is wow 0.0
Who would’ve thought a 10+ maze would be so intense?
Went in at 1.15pm to Darkest Depths. (Well more like half past as there was technical issues). There was a group of about 10-12 of us, however we quickly got split up so it was just two of us together going through the maze.
Seems like the...
How strict even is the park on the 15+ rule for the more intense scare mazes? I’m 16 myself but really don’t look it so not sure whether I need ID or something
We’re planning on booking mazes for earlier in the day, however I’m aware this means that the queues will be shorter.
Will they still wait for more people to make a larger group as I don’t want to go in a smaller group as I’m quite scared oops hahah
Thank you for the advice, although I’m really not sure as this “family maze” has been made proven more intense than advertised according to reviews ahahha
I’m definitely avoiding Sub Species as being dragged and separated isn’t my thing
I’m visiting scarefest for the first time this year in half term on the Friday (not my choice of date, Ik how bad of a decision that is).
I’ve always wanted to go in the mazes at Alton Towers for ages however I get scared and panicked so easily.
Do you think it is worth even trying the mazes...
Does anyone know if you can pre-book individual Maze Tickets as we don’t want to do Sub Species so the Maze Combi Ticket would be a waste.
Or is the box office the only option?
I often hear people mention Oblivion and how sometimes (although rarely) uses its second station.
However, I have no idea where said station is? Could anyone tell me? (Just out of curiosity)
HHN mazes seem awful. They focus on the wrong things. It’s full of beautiful scenery but they just let everyone in at once so it’s not as intimate and there is no tension built up.
It’s just scare after scare which becomes uninteresting and predictable.
In the same boat as you my friend! Always watched vlogs of Scarefest and it looks fab but I'm also scared. It depends on your run through really. Sub Species is meant to be the most intense, the actors may touch you and you can be split up from your group also! The Welcoming was the weakest maze...
